We had a quiet and relaxing vacation for a week at the Deichwinzer in March 2024. Is a friendly and friendly landlord. Nice big accommodation, with everything you need. Has delicious wines from the Moselle for sale. You can take great tours along the dike by bike. Gladly again.

Great apartment, spotlessly clean! The first holiday apartment in which we were able to use the inventory without hesitation upon arrival WITHOUT having to rinse everything! The apartment is 100% barrier-free, there is a paved access path to the apartment, and there is a parking space directly in front of the house. Peace and relaxation is the program behind the dike! The Bauer family is super welcoming as a host couple! We immediately booked again for August and are looking forward to almost two weeks of relaxing time out! Spoiler alert: A trip to the wine shop is worth it! 😎

Very nice, clean and spacious apartment. We didn't miss anything and we slept great because it was absolutely quiet. Very nice landlords, bought great wine there and got tips. We extended it for another day and will definitely be back!

We spent a week's vacation at Bauers and were very satisfied. The apartment for people with disabilities meets all requirements, from the parking space right in front of the door to the step-free entrance, the accessible work area in the kitchen and the perfect, wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Very friendly welcome! Whether tips for things to do or reservations at the local restaurant - Mr. Bauer will take care of it. In addition, the domicile is very quiet, directly behind the dike - absolute silence! You can even enjoy the starry sky from the bed through the roof hatch. This is how recovery works!

There isn't enough space here to talk about the holiday apartment and its advantages.Fully equipped, everything you need is in the kitchen.If you need peace and relaxation and don't want to worry about what's missing, this is the place for you.There are plenty of perfect tips from Mr. Bauer.We had the perfect, relaxing holiday and will be back.

This year we were “repeat offenders” in the smaller apartment on the ground floor. Perfect for wheelchair users. Everything is at ground level and barrier-free. Even as an un-handicapped person, everything is easy to use.Very cozy, 100m behind the dike and the fish sandwiches can be reached on foot in about 1.9km.There are excellent restaurants in the village that also offer our host's wines. You can take beautiful tours along the dike or inland by bike. Bremerhaven can be reached by car in 25 minutes, Cuxhaven a little longer.Speaking of wines. We regularly consume one to two bottles of wine per year. Thanks to our host's excellent advice, there were three in one week and we still had a few in our luggage when we left.Conclusion: don't think about it - just do it. You'll have to look for nicer hosts for a long time.

Great, very clean apartment. Well equipped! There is even a dishwasher and dishwashing tablets were available. There is a large selection of board games. Overall, the apartment is very well maintained and comfortable.The handover was friendly and uncomplicated. The location is good, you can go for a walk right outside the door and you can quickly reach the nearest supermarket by car. In the town itself there are several options for eating out or shopping. There is a parking space for the car directly in front of the house with an e-charging connection.We are happy to recommend this accommodation!

Very nice accommodation with basically 2 bedrooms. Insect protection on every window. 👌Close to the North Sea. Very quiet location.We recommend taking or reserving bicycles.Good selection of delicious wines.Reasonably priced due to the excellent location.

We booked a holiday apartment with the Deichwinzer in Wremen for a spontaneous short break and are really completely satisfied. The hostel family is extremely nice and provided us with the necessary information about shopping opportunities and restaurants in town upon arrival.For a cozy evening you can choose a good wine in the in-house wine bar or have the Bauer family recommend it.The apartment is fully furnished and can sleep up to four adults. A cot and a high chair are available for small children. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher. Crockery and cutlery are also available.It's just 200m from the front door to the dike, so you're right on the Wadden Sea. Perfect location!It is about 1.5 kilometers to the town center. There is a small supermarket there that is open until 7 p.m. every day. There is also a small bakery shop in the center of town.For us it was the first holiday on the North Sea, but certainly not the last. We will definitely look for accommodation at Deichwinzer again in the coming years.
