The Pension Isartal is truly a special kind of makeshift accommodation - in an industrial district that has apparently been abandoned for years. At least it's nice and quiet.The shower is a real highlight – in a negative sense. Mold and tight spaces mean that when you shower you feel like you're trapped in an escape room. A real thrill!The staff are “always trying” and do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. What becomes particularly entertaining is the billing at the end, which is presented in a rather questionable way in an Excel spreadsheet without an invoice or something similar.Breakfast is another fun factor. For an overpriced price you get a very simple buffet that includes sausage from the discounter pack - a real culinary delight! And for those who like to sleep late, a real highlight is that breakfast hours, oddly enough, only last until 9am. So if you like breakfast but still want to enjoy the sleep of the righteous, this is the perfect setting!And just when you think things couldn't get any more chaotic, a screaming child runs across the hallway early in the morning - like you're in the middle of a busy playground.

Very friendly employees but unfortunately there were minor misunderstandings with one contact person due to the language barrier there. The room is okay value for money. Multiple sleeping options. Unfortunately there is a lot of mold in the bathroom in the shower area because there is not enough ventilation. I told the employee and asked what was being done to combat it, but she just said she didn't know, she hadn't been there long. It seemed like she didn't know about the mold because she said she would pass it on. It's not new, so the employees and owners should already know and accept it.Little storage space or hooks in the bathroom. Otherwise we were quite satisfied and would like to come back when the bathroom has been renovated. Breakfast very simple and little choice but okay so far.

The family room is very large and well furnished with everything you need. Even though it is in an industrial area, it is still quite a residential area. The breakfast is nothing special but sufficient and the owner puts a lot of effort into it! As everywhere there are little things that could be better, we couldn't complain about anything here.We would come again!

I would like to thank you for the courteous service. As I arrived late, I neglected to call within opening hours. A short friendly telephone conversation and the matter was resolved. Even at 10 p.m. an employee came and welcomed me in a friendly manner.The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is known when booking, so it is not an evaluation criterion for me. I didn't book breakfast, so I can't rate it.

If other guesthouse guests were considerate of everyone at night, there would be nothing to complain about at night. The bathroom was very nice and new for me. Breakfast is ok if you like filter coffee and coffee cream. Not a big selection and cheese and sausage are prepackaged. But the next day I got normal milk 👍🏼😊
