Great location, great rooms, great rides and also a nice box for the horse.ButUnfortunately no personal communication, but if the WiFi is bad, only communication via email or app. Very confusing and despite rides being booked in advance (supposedly they can be booked on site at short notice) then changes late in the evening via email and no personal conversation. Given the high prices, I expect a different service. It left a bitter aftertaste for us adults and we wouldn't book again.It's a shame ☹️ because it's actually a nice thing at the Heinshof.

It's just quiet, nice and uncomplicated. Sometimes a pony runs freely through the area or a child asks for help with pruning.A wonderful opportunity to relax and unwind.

Riders of all levels of training can spend a relaxed riding holiday here. We, as returnees, felt very comfortable. The holiday apartments are modern and chicly furnished. The horses are cared for and very well trained. The Naeve-Haht family are great hosts and Johanna is a patient, relaxed riding instructor. We'll definitely be back soon. The breakfast rolls are sensational and the culinary offerings in the surrounding area are also highly recommended.

First of all, the positive: the Heinshof is a really beautiful facility, extremely well maintained and well thought out! The quality of the riding lessons and the horses were also great, there is nothing to complain about here at all. Unfortunately, we definitely won't be visiting the farm a second time, as the communication, manners and billing procedures were pure chaos and at the end of the day we felt incredibly ripped off. We had arranged a ride for two people on a Sunday at 11:30 a.m. - upon arrival we were very rudely informed that we should have arrived 45 minutes earlier to prepare the horses. Of course, this would not have been a problem at all, but unfortunately this was never communicated in advance. Very rushed and irritable, we then set off for the obligatory riding lesson before the planned ride and so the start unfortunately had a very unpleasant aftertaste. The subsequent ride took place in a very large group, although we had always talked about small groups beforehand. Unfortunately, one of the other riders fell off the horse - which of course is nobody's fault - and the entire group was then told to only ride at a walking pace. So far so good. We would like to pay for the riding lessons in cash immediately afterwards. Here, too, the riding instructor seemed very stressed, irritable and slightly overwhelmed and couldn't tell us the final amount we had to pay. So we offered to transfer the amount via Paypal afterwards. We promptly received an invoice that we could hardly believe our eyes: rented helmets and vests were charged twice - once for the riding lesson, once for the ride - a horse change made by the farm was also billed as two horses, one not Agreed “saddle assistance” was charged, etc. The bottom line was that the bill felt very much like making money at any price. We are happy to pay for services and quality that have been clearly communicated and agreed upon in advance - but such a high price for absurd items, unfriendly communication and, at the end, a two-hour horseback ride just doesn't fit for us.

The two of us were there today for a riding lesson. Our trainer Johanna gave us a really friendly welcome. The lesson was very educational. The yard as a whole was beautifully furnished and you felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back.

I was in the middle of the holidays as a day guest for horse riding at the Heinshof.Even the first phone call gave the feeling of being absolutely welcome and the subsequent booking and confirmation formalities were completed quickly and completely uncomplicated. In this case, the very spontaneous request for the following day was no problem at all.The positive first impression from a distance was confirmed on site. A very beautiful and coordinated complex invites you to linger in many places.Well-groomed and cared for horses, good equipment, very pleasant training from great coaches and a highly friendly, authentic owner couple are at home here.My clear recommendation for a riding trip is aimed at those who realize that well-ridden sport horses do not run on their own. Those who are willing to accept and implement coaching and for whom it is not up for discussion that appropriate standards also have their price.Thank you dear Heinshof team for the great little break from everyday life!!! I look forward to the next visit

We had great days on the beautiful Heinshof, very nice hosts, very high-quality and delicious products in the farm shop, very nice apartment and, according to my daughter, the best jumping lesson with Linda! (my daughter has been riding for 7 years and has been to various stud farms!)

This was truly a very good experience. The coaches were all very nice and there was always someone there to help. The location was really beautiful and the place itself looked like somewhere from a fairytale. The horses were amazing angels and they are all amazing in their own ways. Everything was very thoughtful. Truly an amazing place and I can’t wait to go back.

A real recommendation for all riders who value quality! Our week in July left nothing to be desired, great horses, top lessons, wonderful ride through the Lüneburg Heath and if you don't want to, you don't have to leave the farm at all thanks to the well-stocked “chicken house” and bread roll service. There were three of us (19-24 years old) as returnees at the Heinshof and went on a 5-6 day riding holiday. The yard itself is very well maintained and looks beautiful. The accommodation was also clean and had the necessary inventory. The riding lessons were great. We were able to learn a lot and the riding instructors were all very friendly and patient. The only problem is why we wouldn't come here again is that you are left very alone if you don't explicitly book a complete preparation of the horse. There was also no instruction for us. We were told where the bridle and saddle were and that we should pick up the horses somewhere. It was our first time at this farm and of course we had little idea about the horses and were therefore unsettled (as a returnee, you might notice). We then had to finish the horse alone down in the yard and there was absolutely no one around that we could ask anything of. We were always told that we should book this. But we didn't want to have a completely finished horse, we just wanted to ask one or two questions. The general rule on the farm is that every little thing is paid for and debited. As I said, the three of us were there for almost 6 days and left a lot of money on this farm and yet there was a real discussion with us because we wanted a third roll of toilet paper. Even if this is stated in the terms and conditions, you can have a little tact. We were also charged an additional €2 because we didn't wash a glass of water when we left. Another small point of criticism is that there is no registration or a contact person on site. When we arrived we didn't know where to go and wandered around the yard. We then had to call the farm and they explained to us where we had to go.All in all, great riding lessons, but the other points speak too strongly for us against coming here again.

My life was destroyed by the choice of horse. I will never be able to move my left arm the way I did before. I had a totally crazy horse that kept climbing. I cried and was afraid, but competent teachers should NEVER have given me this horse.From the beginning, I said: I actually only wanted to spend time here because of my sister, who was sick and loves horses. BUT I'm scared and haven't ridden in ages. Then I had a very nice horse, but when they saw, “Hey, she can do something,” I got a horse to ride that stood for a long time and was just crazy. It rose for a while and I fell down on the field after 10 minutes. I had tried to jump off but was wearing a safety vest which was never explained to me. So I fell down because I wanted to unhook myself when the horse got up. I should have just jumped - but no one had explained it to me.I lay in the field screaming for 40 minutes until the emergency doctor came. I've never had such pain. My arm was completely broken - everything was scattered in the elbow. After 7 hours of surgery, 10 screws and a plate in my arm, I woke up in the hospital. Since then my life has never been the same. You have destroyed a part - NEVER do that to anyone AGAIN. You have to listen to the guest and also explain and anticipate. I also learned a lot and should have said no - but as a layperson you are under instructions and “that's a nice horse and it's okay” doesn't help either.
