We recently went there with a group for 5 days. The rooms were in the standard youth hostel style and were also clean. The showers/toilets were also clean, there were just a lot of small flies in the showers, which we didn't find very nice. There was no trash can in the women's toilets for days and only a makeshift trash can in the room. We were very happy with the breakfast, there was a lot to choose from.Dinner was more of a surprise package. A lot of effort was put into the variety, but it wasn't fresh. The rolls were over from breakfast, as were the cold cuts. Some of the salad and bread were no longer edible and one was even moldy. There were 4 bottles of water for 10 people for dinner on the first day, but they didn't refill them either. If they were empty, there were no drinks with dinner, they had to be bought.Overall we were happy with the facility, even an EM room was decorated to look at it there. The food was really not nice in the evening, but they compensated and apologized. There is always someone at the reception at the times mentioned, so we always had very friendly contact.

No interconnected smoke detector system.Rotten/raw food for dinner.At least one flaw in every room.In the middle of the forest, beach sign does not lead to the beach, concrete soccer field, sand volleyball field.Insight after the 2nd day.

You never meet anyone, staff can only be found at meal times. If you bring someone else's food with you, you pay €50 a day. The information about this will be given upon departure, WITHOUT any warning. There is no hand soap in the bathroom, so be sure to bring your own!The ramp is just dangerous! (See photo)Wi-Fi varies in performance.On the positive side, the staff is nice and the location is nice.

The Sunderhof is a great conference venue. You notice a little that the operator doesn't have enough money for maintenance, but the employees really give it their all. Great location on the outskirts of Hamburg. We experienced a fantastic event there with the Protestant military chaplaincy! By the way, the kitchen can do magic if necessary!!!!

Difficult to reach with public transport, the place looks old. There is a bad mobile phone connection (at least with Telekom) and the place does not offer WiFi.

If you don't have high expectations and don't want to spend a lot, you're in good hands here. Breakfast and dinner was a cold buffet which was fine. Lunch wasn't good and it seemed like the staff were overwhelmed (maybe it was only that weekend). The rooms are clean but are very much behind the times.

Admittedly, the rooms have a bit of a dated feel, but the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You feel wonderfully cared for.

I like to go to the Sunderhof for sewing weekends. The team is always friendly, loving and accommodating. We have everything we need there. Yes, the rooms aren't sparkling new, but I'll just fall in for a quick nap anyway. From youth groups to choirs you can also find Airbus meetings. Everyone seems to like it ;)

Staff is very nice and helpful. But that's about it.At night it just disgusted me because everywhere, YES EVERYWHERE there were only SILVERFISH‼️‼️‼️‼️ In the hallway, room even in the BED‼️‼️‼️‼️ The exterminator should really go there regularly‼️‼️‼️‼️ I can go there right next to it Sleeping in the forest‼️‼️‼️‼️MY CONCLUSION: NEVER AGAIN!!SORRY THAT'S THE TRUTH.

Very nice surroundings (little cell phone network). The existing WiFi is very poor. The service was poor. Special dietary requests (intolerances and allergies) were not taken into account and were billed for anyway. The rooms are fine, but I found hair.
