I was allowed to travel individually and was even able to extend my stay at short notice. The little Swedish house is in such an idyllic location. The fact that the toilet and shower are not in the house is easy to accept. Of course, a toilet right next to the house would be nice, but with such kind landlords, you can overcome your shame there too. It was midsummer and it was as cold as 10°C or even less at night, a short conversation and the heating was on, even in midsummer. Breakfast and the coffee and tea selection in the house were great. I didn't even need to buy coffee myself; when it's empty, put the can out and when you come back the can is full. Where can you get something like that? I found the accommodation by chance in July 23 and spent 3 relaxing days with the Mencke family. I immediately felt very comfortable and welcome. The room with the beautiful view of the garden was fantastic, the breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared and the bed was extremely comfortable. The family was very nice and very attentive to me as a guest and I am already looking forward to my next time relaxing with the family and the wonderful landscape. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality!!!

We were able to enjoy the hospitality of the very friendly Mencke couple from April 22nd to 24th, 2023. The room with a small winter garden, in which we were able to have a delicious breakfast, and the adjoining terrace in front of it is a dream. The location is park-like in a forest area, where the so-called fairytale trail is worthwhile. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Thank you very much for everything!

We were on vacation with the Mencke family from March 31, 2023 to April 2, 2023.It was a great decision because the family is really nice, has a lot of trust and is guest-oriented. We can only recommend it, the rooms are clean and simply but friendly furnished.🙃There is also a bathroom to the room. Price performance is completely okay. The breakfast was also very tasty and prepared with love.👍 The location is also quite central, you don't have to drive long to Hamburg and Lüneburg either, there are two motorways nearby (A1 and A7), both of which are easy and quick to reach🚗 🛣.We would like to thank you again very much and hope to see you again soon!🙃

Mr and Mrs Mencke are very lovely hosts. Provided great breakfast and great recommendations to trek and explore in the area. Even offered extra socks and blankets to keep warm. 😄

We felt very comfortable and welcome as guests.Location and surroundings: Magical, quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac, well-kept garden.Breakfast: Upon request, wholemeal rolls and wholemeal bread, all organic.
