As a local, I went to the restaurant today, which currently has lunch and is open Friday to Sunday evenings. There is currently an additional “Bavarian” card.I was greeted very friendly and served as well.The atmosphere is rustic and cozy.As a "roulade lover" I tried these "grandma's style" with red cabbage and fried potatoes instead of boiled potatoes (2 euros extra). And, to be honest, I would have loved to have grandma by my side too! Very fresh and extremely tasty!The ingredients come from the region.Thank you very much, I will definitely come back and make it clear: a recommendation!

We stayed at the hotel with friends for 2 nights last weekend. Since we have been there several times and it was always very nice, we also recommended it to these friends. A big mistake. As prices have increased, service has decreased significantly or is no longer available. Reception and breakfast were only served by one employee who was very helpful and extremely friendly. On Friday evening in the in-house restaurant the coffee machine was already cleaned and out of service at 9 p.m. and there was no longer anything sweet. However, the nice waitress made two espressos for us. But at 10 p.m. it was tattoo. She was alone. On Saturday morning we were told that breakfast would be cleared away promptly at 10 a.m. as the hotel would then be closed for the day due to a company outing. And that's how it was. We had to walk around the house in the dark to get to the rooms. Very difficult and not without danger with a wheelchair user. Since we wanted to sit together, the four of us spent the evening in front of the hotel in the dark beer garden. On hard chairs, without light or even a cozy candle. You could get drinks from a refrigerator inside and hope to get them safely through the dark hallway. We would have wished that this inhospitable circumstance had been pointed out to us when booking. All in all, we didn't feel welcome in any way and found it a shame that the service had deteriorated so much with the new owner or is no longer there. You get the impression that sales are important to them, the guest doesn't really care and is the last priority. Worth mentioning is the poor employee who was rushed from A to B and was always extremely friendly. All in all, an expensive and unpleasant weekend that left us very annoyed. Small room with a nice but very hard bed. Good bathroom, small but everything was there. Somewhat chipped furniture, but otherwise very well maintained. Breakfast is simple, but scrambled eggs etc. can be ordered. The cuisine is good, middle-class and the portions are plentiful. Very friendly staff. Parking spaces are available, but the railway line that runs directly past the hotel is a bit annoying.

Under new management, the Jesteburger Hof has clearly made a leap forward. Absolutely delicious food, cozy furnishings, the opportunity to dine outside on a not busy street or to take the delicacies with you in environmentally friendly cardboard containers plus super friendly service staff make a trip to this location worthwhile. Nice actions every now and then. Yesterday, for example, there were grilled meat skewers, prepared on charcoal right outside at the tables.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful.The food is excellent.Unfortunately, on the first night in the hotel, I was woken up by the smoke alarms. The batteries were probably not changed in time and so the alarm soundedactivated again and again. Sleep was no longer an option.The toilet in the bathroom was so dirty, really disgusting.My request for another cleaning was immediately fulfilled.But the dirt could not be removed.I couldn't be offered another room because the hotel was apparently fully booked.My recommendation, please replace the toilet.It's a shame that these circumstances affected my stay.

It was the first time in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the location is not that convenient (right next to the road and railway line, which makes it a bit noisy), but the service and food easily make up for it. Very friendly staff and more than good portions and very tasty. You can taste that the products are not supermarket goods. Price - performance 👍👍👍👍

I don't know the rooms.The large hall has several 50cm pillars that often block the view.The food is okay.The staff is friendly depending on the day.The location is right on the freight railway line..The parking spaces can be counted on two hands and are often occupied, the remaining parking spaces are a challenge to maneuver even with a small car or to back out onto the street.Kind regards, M'92
