These are two terrible nights in my life. I heard every sound in the "hotel". No hot water, the heating is cold, the furniture is old. I've had bad accommodation many times but that's the worst. There is no such thing as grade 1, unfortunately

So we had dinner there yesterday.The chicken was, as always, very good. The fries could have been a little more.The chicken rice pan with colorful rice was a sliced ​​chicken that lay on top of the rice. Not really attractive and yet quite loveless.The sauce in the Jägerschnitzel was okay, but the quantity was very little.The knuckle was sold out and the dark wheat beer was the last of its kind. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was also broken, so there was no espresso or cappuccino.We would have expected something different for the rather high prices.We will only get chicken from there.Too bad

Disgusting! .......that at least describes the stay in the "hotel" - I can't say anything about the economy.● The arrivalEverything went quickly when we arrived - too quickly for my taste.No friendly reception, just given a key and given directions to the rooms when asked.The rooms are accessed through a large entrance area covered in spider webs. It smelled musty and like cigarette smoke. After a few steps you reached a long, dark hallway. I looked for my room with my cell phone light. (It wasn't until a day later that another guest showed me where the light switch was)● The roomYes, you should leave an old house, creaky floorboards and the spirit level at home. You should be clear about this with such an old piece of jewelry. But...The room also smelled musty, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the ceiling paneling was broken in some places, and the furniture was taken from classified ad portals. The siphon under the sink was losing water (a shame for the building structure!), the joints were moldy and unfortunately no place in the room was clean! (Incl. beds & covers)● EnvironmentThere are 5 stars here. I was able to observe a raccoon, the birds are awake early and it is very quiet (except for the creaking floorboards)● ResultI would never stay here again, especially not at this price. There seem to be some structural problems here and I would like to see measures taken and the potential of this location used so that guests would like to come back. Under these circumstances, bookings will certainly no longer occur often. And please think about your price structure, because you get significantly better accommodation options for the money!

We were very disappointed. Unfriendly reception by the staff. Apparently they didn't know anything about a booking. The room and bathroom were very spacious and well equipped. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was a musty smell everywhere in the building that could be felt even in the room. We had the worst breakfast ever in a hotel, inn, guesthouse. On the day of departure at 8:30 a.m. nothing had been prepared and we were placed in an unclean room.

I've never seen anything like that in my entire life... loud creaking noises coming from the floors... the pictures don't correspond to the truth at all... dirty and run down! Fraud ! Not even a bottle of water or a glass in the room… the pictures say it all! Half towels... why can't you hang a whole one for a price of over 100 euros! I didn't close my eyes there!

We had eaten there several times about 2 years ago. Everything was great, good quality, very nice atmosphere.We went there again last week and left very disappointed. Smaller portions, quality of preparation poor, prices far too high (there seems to be only one deep fryer for everything) and for about the same money we will eat a very good buffet at a Chinese restaurant in the future. It's a shame about the beautiful atmosphere.There is probably an attempt here to run the restaurant with low costs and high final prices. Let's see when management changes again.

Something urgently needs to be done with the outdoor facilities to preserve this (actually) beautiful place.But probably (like everywhere) there is no money.

I will remain factual and objective now.*I and my wife arrived at the Klosterhof after about a 2-hour drive from OWL for the cheese course. Because we wanted to explore the area, we booked a room online, as offered, for €90.00 without breakfast.*A room key was given to us with the information that you should go around the corner and be somewhere on the first floor,*After a search of about 8 rooms, we found the room at the very end, we went in, in a double bed there were 2 individual, different mattresses with a 15cm height difference and only equipped with a blanket and pillow.We went downstairs, we were informed, without any apology or embarrassment we were told very quietly and in a bored manner that they would retrofit what had been done.You can imagine lying on the mattresses if a mattress is 15 cm higher. After my wife laid down next to me and later wanted to go to her side, she simply let herself fall deeper. It makes you laugh, but it also makes you cry.Slept reasonably well. The frogs in the backyard had a lot to talk about during the night...*Departure/Payment: I go to the counter to pay. Then the “Wolfgang” boss of the gang says “Breakfast?” Me: "No, thank you" He opens his hand and says €100.00!Me: No, as booked and confirmed by email here is €90.00 in cash. Then, with a grimaced and sour face, they said, “Oh, soo.”He took the money that was in his waiter's wallet and turned around and walked away. Nothing like: “Would you like an invoice/receipt?” The tax office is happy...Conclusion: I have described my experience in this hotel as objectively as possible.
