Romantik-Pension Vogt

Stayed with the Vogt family for three nights, room with private bathroom. They are very friendly and helpful hosts. Everything was very clean and the bed was wonderful. Breakfast is served in the former wine cellar. I was able to park the car in the inner courtyard, which is secured by a gate. An accommodation with character.

Simply wonderful, I was and am more than satisfied.

Building:nice and atmospheric, a beautiful, old Black Forest house, steep stairs not suitable for everyoneRoom:I was in a usable room with its own sink, which drained relatively poorly. Light relatively dim, but usable. There is a TV in the room to wake up/go to sleep, but there aren't many programs.Bathroom:The bathroom outside the room is accessible via the hallway, but the bathroom is very narrow, so it wasn't easy to get dressed properly in the bathroom and you shouldn't go through the hallway undressed, as there is a direct path to the front door and traffic can be there at any time. The shower is also no longer the newest and is quite calcified. When getting out you have to be careful not to accidentally step on or into the toilet.Kitchen:There is a small preparation room with a refrigerator. It is open to all guests.Service:Terrible. Just awful.1. When I arrived, no one opened the door for me and only after a few minutes did I speak to a person who was already sitting in front of the house and waiting for me. Welcome otherwise ok.2. Several check-out times were given: one when booking (11 a.m.), shortly before 10 a.m. it was then said that it had to be vacated by 10 a.m.3. When I was transporting my things out, the yard gate was locked behind me, even though I still had things in the room.4. Communication skills towards 0! Almost unavailable by telephone or only inadequate answers, tried several times to book a room with a bathroom, almost no response (telephone and email), email availability almost 0, inquiries are answered 5% of the time, queries generally not really answered. I've also been waiting for my electronic payment confirmation for more or less half a year...DE - SO - LAT!Connection:It works for drivers. Bus connections are also available during the day. O., although the bus is sometimes difficult to drive. However, if you check out on a Sunday (11 a.m.), you will have problems with public transport, as the first connections are only scheduled at around 12:30 p.m.Price:The price for the room was ok, for the location the price was unfavorable for being close to the city, but cheap for the idyll. With an attached bathroom it wouldn't have been much more expensive, but it is rare. Then the price would be good.Conclusion:Usable as accommodation, but tiring. In terms of price, it's definitely not worth more than you pay. But the service is more than just alienating customers...

Bathroom and beds great. The rest was disappointing. In my opinion there was nothing friendly about the house. Lots of cast iron, in and around the house. In all the rooms it smelled damp, like it hadn't been used or aired in forever. For breakfast you had to go down to the basement via a spiral staircase, which could only be accessed with full concentration and with your head ducked (iron lamps with dangerous tips were hanging everywhere). The breakfast room would have been suitable for a medieval feast.OK if you like it...
