Basically, this place is perfect for our RTW camping. This year we also stood away from the actual square on a meadow with our own sanitary facilities. We are not demanding either. But a sanitary building with sinks that look like cow troughs and hang at knee height, toilets from the last century and no showers, we were disappointed again. Especially since the place itself has a beautiful new washhouse. But as I said, we are not demanding. But the worst thing is actually the groundskeeper. I have rarely met someone so unfriendly and rude. As a paying guest (and the prices are reasonable), I didn't feel welcomed, or rather not welcomed at all. And despite the fact that we filled the cash register properly for the second time with over 20 RTWs at the end of the season, there was no trace of accommodation . If there was a rating of unfriendliness here, it would be five stars. Once again there was no mowing, so the lawn was very high and we had to go through it like storks.Despite everything, we had a very nice meeting, with lots of great people, although it was the last time on this site for the reasons mentioned above. For people who love complaining and unfriendliness, very good, they should report to reception, but we want to be treated kindly, because we also treat everyone kindly and stick to common rules. And you can literally see the friendliness in your answer, dear Ms. Schnatmann. But it doesn't matter now because we definitely won't be coming back because neither last year nor this year we had the feeling that you would even want to have groups like ours.Maybe for other campers everything is always fine, but personally I prefer open words. Because that's the only way something can change. Stay as rude and enjoy your space. We'll look elsewhere. Luckily, Germany is big and there are places that are happy about us.Kind regards

The place is wonderfully quiet, with a lot of shade from the adjacent forest. The overall size of the space (feels like 50% long-term campers) is pleasantly manageable and the care is very nice and personal. The sanitary building has been newly renovated, very clean and the individual cabins are spacious. Unfortunately - there remains a bad habit on some of the campsites, especially in Germany - with coin-operated machines for showering (unfortunately the meter doesn't stop even when the tap is turned off...) In everything: definitely recommended!!!

Great campsite Samihaus 1 A. I don't even have that much space at home. The operators are also absolutely friendly. The trimmings all around are varied. And Detmold is worth a trip. We'll be back.

Super nice, very family campsite. Very clean, great operating family, very helpful and accommodating. New, state-of-the-art washhouse, very, very clean. The operators make sure everything is clean all day long. Just great!!!! The campsite is located at the end of the town of Pivitsheide, directly on hiking trails, including the Hermannswanderweg. It's about 7 km on foot to Hermann. Source and stream directly at the campsite, only about 100 to 200 m away. A refreshment for hot days, especially for those traveling with dogs. I enjoyed the time. Actually 5 stars isn't enough. The place deserves more stars!!!

We were at this campsite last night. What a welcome and beautiful sanitary facilities. And so quiet. Next to the campsite is a beautiful forest where you can enjoy walking. Even the dog was taken into consideration. He received a cardboard box with treats.Highly recommended. We will definitely go there again and for a little longer.

Excellent campsite with all facilities. For the toilet and shower, which are very spacious, you will receive a key for a deposit to prevent strange guest visits. Friendly welcome who shows you all available places and the facilities. The terrain is somewhat sloping, so blocks are sometimes necessary. The environment is great for seasoned hikers and mountain bikers. The nearby city is not very interesting, but it is easy to do shopping on a regular bicycle. The location of this campsite is in a wooded area with hardly any traffic noise. You can order food from the Greek who delivers for a few euros and it's tasty too!

Very nice little place in the middle of nature, the sanitary facilities are new, warm water, what more could a camper's heart want?
