The management and all employees (the kitchen staff shone with special attention when it came to individual needs) are incredibly friendly and helpful. I can fully recommend the youth hostel for school trips. Any time :)

We stayed in Heiersburg for one night and were completely satisfied. The twin room was absolutely appropriate for the style of the hostel, very clean and tidy. The employees always had an open ear and eye, as well as good tips for activities in the area.We had also booked breakfast and were completely satisfied with it as we were able to find everything we needed at the buffet. The view of the cathedral from our room was great! Despite parallel school trips, we were able to find some peace and quiet and enjoy our time! We would also like to come back!

The youth hostel is actually quite good. However, in my opinion there are some problems:The beds are very uncomfortable, the sheets are actually just a tablecloth, so they keep slipping.Unfortunately the bathroom situation is really bad. There is no bathroom in the room, nor is there a sink. In a hallway with space for about 60 there is only one shower, which you can also use. That's really not enough.Unfortunately, the walls are very noisy, meaning you can hear everything in the hallways. But you can do it for one or two nights!

Basic yet enough. A hostel that has reasonable facilities. Bunk beds, some rooms en suite shower and toilet. Very clean, bedding and towels provided. Dining room with continental breakfast, rolls, meat, cheese, coffee, tea, breakfast cereal, orange squash. In the middle of town so great for a night out. Try the gyro... Like a kebab but so much better

Modernly decorated youth hostel in an old castle. Rooms and hallway clean and tidy. The staff is nice and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner offerings are sufficient. There is a paid parking lot in front of the hostel.

We were guests at the hostel with the orchestra for a rehearsal weekend. The communication in advance was very uncomplicated and the employees on site were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms well equipped, bathrooms clean and the hostel generally well maintained. The food was also good, especially the breakfast with bakery rolls and a large selection.Thank you for the lovely stay!
