Alpakas im Chemnitztal

Great alpaca hike experienced with the farm owner's nephew. The animals seemed relaxed and content. The guide entertained us well and was able to answer all of our questions. Gladly again!

On August 3rd we celebrated our son's start of school at the alpaca farm and were still totally amazed. It was a truly unforgettable great party in such a beautiful location with really lovely hosts.The party started in the afternoon. We previously arranged to meet with Marco on site and coordinated further details by email. When planning, we totally relied on Dani's and Marco's experience and that was worth its weight in gold.The location was very lovingly decorated with flowers from the garden. Water was available in drink dispensers on the table for our guests. There was a great selection of drinks and the beer tap was well used by our guests.After coffee, at our request, we went on a “short” alpaca hike of one hour with Ute. That was brilliant and a truly unique experience. After a short introduction, everyone was assigned their alpaca. That was so fun because every alpaca has its own special character and peculiarities. We laughed so much and it gave all the guests an incredible amount of joy, happiness and love. Our school starter also enthusiastically went on a hike with Aladdin. The two harmonized perfectly. Ute told us a lot of interesting facts about the alpacas. Even my mother, who is 70, was so touched after the hike.Afterwards we played table tennis and badminton in the garden and the children were able to cool off in the idyllic swimming pond. The garden with a view of the Chemnitz is really a dream.Then it was time for the next highlight - baking pizza. Dani and Marco prepared pizza dough themselves and provided lots of delicious ingredients. Everyone could have their own individual pizza and both the children and the adults had a lot of fun. And best of all - the pizza really tasted excellent.The alpacas were on the meadow while we ate. You have a brilliant view of these magical animals from the covered “celebration area”. This is really calming and relaxing.The celebration was truly unique and the owners were incredibly accommodating, nice, funny and simply on the ball. You just felt comfortable. Our son will certainly never forget his back-to-school party and neither will we. Thank you for that.

We enjoyed a really great and interesting picnic with the alpacas in the pasture. After a nice welcome and a few brief information/rules of behavior from the owner Marco, we had a relaxed meal surrounded by the cute animals.Later, Daniela (Marco's wife) came to our pasture with her two children and answered all of our many questions about the alpacas in great detail, professionally and patiently. On top of that, we were also allowed to feed the animals some dry food and we were able to pet them.All in all, it was a really great, interesting & extraordinary experience in the best weather. The picnic is reasonably priced, even if you have to provide your own food and drink. 😊🦙
