This guesthouse is very nice. It is very quiet, the service was excellent and the breakfast is very very tasty. The rooms are clean, large and spacious. The bathroom is also clean and modern. All in all, it's very nice there and I'll definitely come back.

We've been here for coffee several times. Very nicely located in the green. Beautiful, loving atmosphere.Unfortunately, this café is not run with as much passion as one would hope. Only students serve you. The bosses are never to be found. Even when we asked (we always wanted to ask something about the rooms) we didn't know when the boss would actually be in the café. The girls often seem overwhelmed and very listless or stressed. However, this cannot be applied to everyone, we have also had weekends where the service was great (we were served by the older girls who probably already had work experience).The cake selection is not quite what you would imagine from a café. The cakes are always the same (with exceptions, there were sometimes Black Forest cakes or a plum cake), probably because of who bakes the cakes? The cakes taste delicious but for the price you would expect a little more, as I said there are exceptions.One would also like a little more uniformity (ice cream sundaes, arranging the cakes,...)We love coming here but we can only hope that the operators would take all the reviews to heart and change something. It would be a shame if such a beautifully located café had to close.

We've been there several times now, every time good.Unfortunately, it's quite a disaster on some weekends. Therefore only 2 stars. Considering that the young people are no older than 18. I don't really know anything about work or organization, you can see the uncertainty and lack of desire on the overwhelmed faces.Every time the sundae looks different, not like it will be uniform and appetizing.We've been there on weekends where there was a lot of activity and the employees were very polite and friendly, high praise. You can see that they want it and take the time for the guests, sundae top, we were never asked if we wanted a scoop of ice cream with our piece of cake. In between we had a little chat. We like to come on days like this. One wants uniformity, order and friendliness.You should develop a clear concept for the employees so that there are no inconveniences and everything runs like clockwork or rely on potential and qualified personnel.Come again. The cake is still very tasty and recommended👍🏼😊

We can't judge the pension, but the cafe doesn't work at all...We stopped here while passing through for Crafts Day. A special stand on the street invited people to have coffee.It also looks very beautiful and idyllic. Located in the countryside, half-timbered house as a guesthouse. Really great. But if there are still 3 cakes in the display case at 3:05 p.m., on Sunday, when the weather is great, on Craft Day, when a lot of people are on the move, then you ask yourself what is going wrong here.In addition, the service staff are students who have no idea about gastronomy. Zero clarity, everything is so disorganized, errors are inevitable.I think it's great that young people earn their own money, but it has to be a little bit right. Guests can also press the button on the fully automatic machine themselves to let out their coffee.We even had to calculate the change for the young lady.We won't stop here anymore...

We just wanted to stop for coffee...Seldom has the service been so rude as in this cafe... an unfriendly welcome that is second to none!Only inexperienced students who had never seen the inside of a restaurant served at the table and there was a paying guest sitting in front of them.

It's our first time and it's a nice guesthouse and it looks nice from our room, you can see green, and the lady who brought us coffee was very friendly. We'll definitely come back 👍

Oh dear, never again... ordered a colorful plate of cake... received 2 plates of cake (somewhere from the supermarket to defrost). You first had to ask for cake scoops and for the second cup of coffee... a very long wait. It was known that a company was coming... It didn't look like they were prepared... everything was very unstructured. There weren't so many guests there that you could say it was stressful. 15 € were charged for decoration... wonder what... there were 3 plastic leaves and 3 plastic pine cones on the board... what a disgrace. I don't even want to start talking about the price of the cake per piece... if everything had fit together and the service staff had had a plan, we would have been the last to say anything, but drinking that coffee was a complete disappointment!

Found this small, fine guesthouse.Was there with my wife over the weekend.Had a very nice, clean room with a view of the landscape.The landlady was very nice and helpful and took the time to show us everything.The night was very pleasant and quiet.And the next morning breakfast was amazing, everything you wanted was there and when it was empty it was immediately refilled.We will definitely stay longer next year.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. The first thing that caught my eye was the perfect cleanliness! Our room was located right under the roof, decorated very well and modernly, there was everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was good, no temperature changes. Two opposite windows in the room and two more windows in the bathroom created excellent air circulation. We always sleep with the windows open, so we had to close the windows at 5-6 in the morning, as it was noisy due to the cars on the nearby road. The bed was too soft for me personally. Otherwise everything is simply amazing! Wonderful views around the hotel. You can walk along the path along the river. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. The staff is very polite, attentive and helpful. Personally, I was amazed by the egg salad from the hostess. It was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend this hotel!

Pleasant and service-friendly service, no food service beyond breakfast except at the weekend. Small beds but very clean and nice. Very good bathroom. Reasonable if you have a single room (€47). You can have a late check-out by appointment. Normal check-out is at 10:00. Should have been classified as a 3+ (*** 1/2) hotel.

May 1st is always worth a trip. Unfortunately not an insider tip. A lot of people, but all the employees tried to make things move quickly. Delicious cake. And when the weather is nice, come on foot or by bike.

Unfortunately, the guesthouse does not comply with current fire safety regulations. The operators know this and do nothing about it.Among other things, smoke detectors are missing.The hair dryer provided had open lines.Unfortunately the reception service times are not correct. This meant we had to wait a long time to check out.

A piece of Thalheim's history.There is a modern café here with friendly staff.Also recommended for celebrations. We have had various celebrations here and we always really enjoyed it.The holiday apartments are also recommended. A great location from which you can take beautiful walks and can also quickly get to the city or the supermarket.
