Yes, a little autumn trip for four + child at Villa Eichenlaub over the weekend. Setup simple and straight. Electric floor heating takes a while, but then it works well. Had dinner 50 m away at Lilli's. I was also lucky with the weather. Very nice autumn days. Ordered bread rolls once for breakfast and everything worked out great. The campsite was also nice and quiet in the low season.All in all: uncomplicated, cheap, beautiful location! Recommendation!

A bit difficult this one. The surroundings seemed fantastic to us, but when we drove into the campsite we immediately knew: this was not something. It didn't look cozy or fun. The campsite owner was very nice. We had the feeling that they were all regulars who had been coming here for years. We did not feel at home here and left again the next morning

What a terrible campsite.It lies nicely, but the grass is 2 feet high, which makes cows very happy.Many regular guests who had again created squares, which is terrible and does not belong to a campsite.The toilet smelled and the shower only worked.Renovate this campsite and it is beautiful where you can enjoy beautiful walks, as I saw.We arrived late. Otherwise I would have left straight away.We did that the next day.So never again.

Really nice and well-kept campsite in a charming setting. Unfortunately we were only here for one night. Next time we will definitely stay longer. Tip: Sonnenlandpark is not too far away for a day trip with children.

I will continue my review over the next few days.The first day was held under the motto “A campsite could be so beautiful without guests”.A very nice woman greeted us and explained everything to me. Unfortunately she had to go. When I wanted to order the rolls from the man, when I asked what kind of rolls there were, he said: "Those made by the baker". After further intensive inquiry "light, dark and with grains". I don't know if that's supposed to be cool, at least not polite.Let's see what happens tomorrow. For the next two days we were out and about from morning to night, so contact was limited.To the place, very green and nice and shady. That was it then. If you like old GDR charm, this is the place for you. I had been able to enjoy this long enough. I'll treat myself to something in my old age. We won't be coming back here again.

Fine little campsite in a generally quiet location and in close proximity to Rabenstein Castle, a wildlife park, a swimming lake and a high ropes course. Not everything is up to date anymore, but it exudes charm and homeliness. Lots of long-term campers with well-kept front gardens, the proximity to Chemnitz's old town is fabulous! Unfortunately, the peace and quiet in the evening is often disturbed by very loud music until late into the night. The course operators should be more behind this.

We stayed here for a long weekend. The location is very good with proximity to the palace and castle. Unfortunately, the entrance to the reservoir is completely on the other side of the lake and that's why it was further away than we had hoped with a small child.We found the place to be a bit old. Especially the play equipment for the little ones. The sanitary area seemed to have been renovated somewhat and looked chic. Unfortunately the water was mostly cold and it was difficult with a small child because the jet of water was so strong that it hurt him. The motion detector also causes the lights to go out far too quickly.The bread roll service was good and the gentleman at the reception was very nice.Unfortunately, we were unlucky because a few boys had set up tents on the meadow for campers and had an extremely long and loud party. An allocation of space might be a bit advisable.

Chemnitz is terrible...the Champingplatz is a haven of peace and a place to relax in the forest. Great location.

The place is very beautiful and natural. By bike about 50 minutes to the Sachsenring. A shuttle was offered which was very well received. 10 euros per person (for the 4 of us 80 euros there and back) is something you should consider. Especially if you want to visit the Sachsenring in 2 days. But the drivers are great and very friendlyThe staff at the hut on Saturday evening were also so nice, thank you for that. .It's a shame that there was mostly cold water on the 3 days and the toilets were very dirty (that was the fault of the guests but you have to look into it). Of course there was definitely more going on because of Sachsenring but still. Actually got 5 stars otherwise. We still recommend you and will definitely come back ourselves when we come to the Sachsenring

Stayed here for a few days, the surroundings are super beautiful, everything can be reached within a few minutes. Bread rolls can also be ordered at reception.We booked a bungalow, it looks very nice from the outside and the location was also suitable and idyllic.What bothers me, however, is that €20 was charged for cleaning and then everything was found full of cobwebs. I don't have a problem with the spiders, we're in the forest. However, it can't be the case that all the pots are pure cobweb biotope and the door frames are also full of cobwebs. Unfortunately, the curtains and the walls also had stains.😅 These are the only points of criticism, otherwise it was a really nice stay and is recommended.

The place is good if you go hiking.You can quickly get to town on foot and can shop at Rewe or Rossmann if you've forgotten something.Due to the many trees it is a bit gloomy, which is normal.You could do a lot with the space.The facility needs a little more maintenance, the plumbing was OK.Kiosk was OK too. You could order fresh eggs and rolls every day.Unfortunately, there are too many old dilapidated caravans on the edge of the square and in some places it looks a bit untidy on the edge of the square.Unfortunately, restaurants are only open at certain times of the day, and sometimes it's not so nice for dinner when the kitchen closes at 5 p.m.But in and of itself it worked, I've seen worse.
