Great location, wonderful ambience, unfortunately there was no overnight stay at all because people refuse a single overnight stay and prefer to leave rooms empty... if you don't need it...Therefore no rating for the rooms.

A nice time out!Service is very important here. We were able to thoroughly enjoy a booked arrangement (10-13.10.24) with our grandchildren in the castle hotel.From the reception to the staff of the castle restaurants, you could feel that the guest is king.Everything was perfect here.There is also a really good, comprehensive breakfast buffet with regional products.The menus booked in the evening were the crowning finale. A feast for the palate and the eye.The location and the entire ensemble of the castle complex invite you to linger and take further excursions into the surrounding area.We'd love to come back!!!

The hotel is amazing!!! Beautiful location, extremely friendly and courteous staff, great rooms, optimal facilities, free parking, etc. Everything is just perfect and we definitely want to come back soon!The food is so delicious and everything is lovingly designed down to the last detail. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome ;)Really only recommended!!!

We were guests for a long weekend. From the first day to the last we had a smile of satisfaction on our faces. You are no longer used to such all-round service. The service at the reception, in the restaurant, when cleaning the rooms - everything was done with enthusiasm and joy, without reproach.Our room (210) was very spacious, a great large bathroom. We were and still are thrilled with the cleanliness. Respect.The food in the restaurant was excellent, top value for money.Very careful staff, heartwarming open apprentices.Always an open ear and also an eye for any special requests.The stay was simply perfect for us. A very warm thank you.We were definitely not there for the last time.

Nice, modern hotel room.Breakfast buffet: Large selection, everything tasted very good. Regional or homemade products, you can taste it!The moated castle, the castle hotel and the entire courtyard are very beautiful. Everything seems very romantic. The hotel rooms are furnished in the same style, but still modern.

We celebrated my 60th birthday at the Schlosshotel Klaffenbach in mid-August. Most of the guests arrived on Friday, so we were able to fully enjoy the wonderful hotel and a celebration in Taube's salon, which only deserves the title "perfect". Thanks to the team and our waiter Leon. :)

Disastrous service……uncoordinated. We celebrated a family celebration in the restaurant. Not a huge one, but rather small with 12 people. We had reserved a long time in advance. The waitress asked relatively little whether anyone else would like something to drink or checked. Something was always missing from the orders. The ice cream tasted somehow musty. We were asked in the afternoon when we wanted dinner and we ordered food at that time. (4:00 p.m.) We expressed a desired time of 6:30 p.m. Despite repeated requests, we received the food at 7:40 p.m....with small children.The restaurant management/management is not on site yesterday, today or tomorrow. But that would have been urgently needed, as it doesn't seem to work on its own. A catastrophe. Luckily we didn't celebrate the wedding here.The meat wasn't medium rare but rather well done, but otherwise the food was good.We probably won't celebrate here again

It wasn't the first time we were guests in this historic hotel ensemble on the grounds of the moated castle complex. We found the service to be very friendly and attentive, the rooms were also visually eye-catching, and everything was very clean and well-kept throughout the entire hotel area. The highlight was the recommended 3-course menu as part of an arrangement with a ticket to an open air concert. Many thanks to kitchen & service!

We had booked a night in the Klaffenbach moated castle as part of a concert arrangement. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are also very good and clean. The surroundings are beautifully green and well maintained. There is a golf course right next to the hotel.The only downside: our room faced the inner courtyard. Generally very nice, but due to the event we had the charcoal grill under the window and were not allowed to open it. Very unfortunate at high temperatures. Then please put a fan in the room, that would have been nice. Even after the event, it was not possible to open the window because there would be noise from dismantling. Maybe you should take this into account in the room price or at least offer some goodie. Others who had a room at the front were able to open the windows and sleep peacefully after the event.

Beautiful hotel right next to the moated castle in all its walls. Room big enough with minibar. Modern bathroom with large shower. Dinner and breakfast took place in the vaulted cellar. If you wanted, you could also sit outside. We had a 4-course candlelight dinner with wine accompaniment. We enjoyed everything very much.
