Yes, what can I say. The rooms and their furnishings still correspond to the 80s. There is a fear of the balcony collapsing. The room itself was clean. At breakfast there is the impression that everything has been counted out. There are two baked rolls on the table per person, with a piece of butter per roll. The selection of sausage and jam is very limited and consistent. If you only want to stay overnight there and only go on excursions, the hotel will be enough.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is simply unbeatable - centrally located, with easy access to the city's main attractions. Everything was easy to get to, which made my stay particularly pleasant. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. From arrival to departure I always felt welcome and well looked after. The man was always willing to help with questions and gave me great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. All in all, a perfect stay - I would love to come back and can only warmly recommend this hotel!

Very nice, the rooms are clean and the hotelier was very obliging (he lent me a walking stick). We were able to take the bus for free :)

This guesthouse is located a few minutes away from the train station and has a few rooms with balconies and good views. It looks like a one man show and the host is a darling. …

Is close to the town center and you can reach the city or the Königssee on foot. With the spa card you have free travel on public transport. Stop reachable in 5 minutes. Rooms are neat and clean. Breakfast was simple and good. The selection was clear, but you definitely got enough. Parking possible at the hotel. Price-performance is okay.

Beautiful hotel with charm and free parking space. The rooms are a bit dated, but functional. I particularly liked the large refrigerator and the balcony with a mountain view to end the evenings. The owner is always personally on site, approachable and always very nice. A breakfast is included in the price. That was ok - not a highlight, but not bad either. You sit down at the set table in the morning and that is worth a lot on vacation. Overall, the price/performance ratio is right! Good central location, good rooms and you don't support a hotel chain, but a family business. Also worth mentioning is the option to have your laundry washed there for a small fee. Worth a lot, especially for tourists with hand luggage. We will be back!

The room was small but clean enough. The small balcony where we ended the evening was great. When it came to breakfast I followed my predecessor. The landlord was very nice when we arrived and also when we left. For that Budget we thought the room was great.

Were there for the second and definitely the last time. The host gave the impression that you were just a burden as a guest and was therefore extremely grumpy at check-in. The rooms are okay considering the price/performance ratio. What doesn't work at all, however, is breakfast. Offering baked rolls is one thing. But if these are still dry, the cheese and sausage slices have been counted and no more eggs are put, as soon as you don't eat them one morning, it's another matter. One morning we came into the breakfast room, the hotelier saw that there was hardly any choice left (we're talking about two types of sausage and one type of cheese) and still didn't refill anything. It's a shame, there are definitely better alternatives in Berchtesgaden.
