At first glance, the Glück Holiday Home offers everything you need for a few nice, quiet days. It is mostly very well equipped (apart from the lack of beer glasses, and that in Bavaria...), has a wonderful, illuminated garden and is clean and well-kept in almost every place.Unfortunately, the large table on the terrace is a real imposition; I would even say it is a health risk for children. Almost every one of our guests got splinters of wood in their hands and arms. The argument that the owner would like to leave the table “natural” cannot be accepted. The table needs to be exchanged or treated.Furthermore, you have to be clear beforehand (or even better: ask) what is meant by “event house”, because as we have now learned, opinions differ enormously here.Even though the house is supposedly located in an industrial area, it is surrounded by direct neighbors. Noisy evenings are therefore inappropriate here. However, how we were treated as a group who expected something different from our stay was questionable. A reference to the volume was justified in all cases, but the manner was not at all.Ultimately, there were different expectations from both parties regarding the stay. The inability to reconcile these expectations led to a bizarre handover of the property upon departure. The staff examined each room with meticulous detail, almost as if they were desperate to find something to blame on us. They finally found what they were looking for with the fly screen. This was followed by an exorbitantly high cost estimate for the new covering. Luckily (no pun intended) the insurance stepped in without any problems.

The house is in a mixed area (industrial/residential area).As soon as you enter the house, which is located on the edge of the forest, you are in a world of your own - birdsong, peace, an incredible amount of space.The outdoor area with barbecue area, loungers and table tennis table is spacious and invites you to relax.The house itself is well equipped. We were there with 14 people ranging from early 20s to mid 50s and we all felt comfortable. We never felt like we had to be overly quiet. The landlords were very friendly both long-distance and in direct contact.If we meet again in this region, we would be happy to do so again.

Very well-equipped 200 square meters of living space for 15 people is not easy to find. Here are some. There is also an outdoor area with a view of the forest, with a table tennis table, sauna, meadow, dart board, loungers, fireplace, chill corner, long table for sitting outside. The house has 4-5 bedrooms, toilets, kitchen and a large lounge for watching TV, eating and playing. There are also washing machines and a fireplace inside. Shops are within walking distance and there are several restaurants in Uffenheim. The cities of Rothenburg o.d. Tauber and Würzburg can be reached by car in 30 and 45 minutes respectively. All of our fellow travelers (between the ages of 25 and 70, plus 3 small children) expressed their praise afterwards.The contact with the landlady by email and on site was very friendly.The location in a commercial area on the outskirts of the city shocked me at first. But you ignore it relatively quickly because luckily you don't notice it in the house or on the green outdoor area.The price of around 2000 euros for 5 nights seems like a lot, but since I can't assess whether it is justified and we shared it among four families, I would like to rate this point neutrally.

First you have to determine under what conditions you want to use this location.Unfortunately, despite its location in an industrial area, it is difficult to use as a real party or event house (see name), as there are a few residential buildings right next to it.Admittedly, we used the music system for the garden, which was permanently installed in the house, extensively in the evenings/nights... but then we had to have very unpleasant encounters with the owner. Every evening he drew our attention to our loudness with an extremely inappropriate aggression. This very unpleasant behavior towards his guests unfortunately ruined a lot of the atmosphere.On the positive side, however, the location itself is absolutely great and offers everything you could wish for. Clean, fully equipped, nice furnishings and great outdoor area. I don't want to withhold that.In any case, we have learned that we have to use the somewhat misleading term “event house” with caution and will look for a more suitable party location for next time

Wonderful location with a great garden.A great place to meet friends and family and spend a few nice days.At first glance everything is perfect.It would be great if it had stayed that way.Unfortunately, there were a few problems - including interpersonal ones - that subsequently reduced the fun.1. There was no chance of viewing the location together at check-in.In principle this is not a bad thing. Unfortunately, the check out turned into a never-ending farce. Our group was treated as if we were criminals. Four people looked at EVERYTHING with a magnifying glass for about 1 1/2 hours and came to the conclusion that we must have made a small crack in a fly screen.Of course that can be the case, but it simply cannot be proven and has a bitter aftertaste.If we had been treated with the same care when checking in as when checking out, this problem would have been avoided2. The refund of the deposit took more than three months to settle the damage.3. the woman employed made a pleasant impression. While the owner couldn't score points with it. Why? Because of his demeanor at check out and his daily appearance at 9:30 p.m. to make sure everything is okay. All of this without even imagining.Those were the main arguments.So: Nice location, but unfortunately our fun was spoiled.
