I only rate the sauna, any other service such as an overnight stay (no matter in the room or in your own car) / massage / gastronomy (as I understand it [!] should open again if necessary, but only with drinks, or ask about this even after)notThe sauna is easy to find with navigation, once you've been there once you don't need one anymore. There is also a totem pole on the main street that shows you the way 👍You can park directly in the adjacent parking lot or on the street. Then you have to go parallel to the street all the way past the building"restaurant entrance" and another front door) down the stairs and ringing the bell because the door is (always) closed.I think it's good, it's for security reasons.Don't be alarmed, the melody of the bell is so horrible, you have to experience something like that...Personally, I never had to wait more than a moment for it to open. The sauna is currently run in a more family-friendly manner, the boss is friendly and offers infusions upon request, which you can easily do yourself (by arrangement).I use the evening tariff at €23, which is fine in today's inflation-ridden times (my personal opinion ☝️).Unfortunately only one sauna is in operation. To be honest, that's ok, as it's hot at Ø 90⁰ to 95 ⁰ C, which is appropriate for a Finnish one. This is what this company advertises, and it does it justice. To cool off, there is one right next to the sauna"Bucket shower" (which I never use because the water is far too cold like in every sauna facility) and a half-filled pool, which is cold/cool.In my opinion, that's enough to cool down, and swimming would in principle also be possible, despite being half full (you always have to keep the costs in mind...).There are also two well-functioning showers for men and women in the main building.(The function was only tested in men).UNLIKE OTHER SAUNAS, THE TEMPERATURE OF THESE CAN EVEN BE ADJUSTED; I've already experienced a lot.And a separate room with a cold shower and plunge pool. There are also these strange foot basins. For the necessary rest after the sauna session, you can either relax on one of the numerous loungers in the large garden/lawn, which is well maintained ☝️, or use the terrace, which is also equipped with loungers, and enjoy nature, peace and a good view. There are plenty of leather armchairs in the interior, which you can appreciate in the autumnal temperatures in midsummer.A little tip, to the right of the terrace there is a "former" sauna, so it's no longer on, or not always or something 😇In any case, you can also use it as a relaxation room and enjoy the beautiful smell of hay, which lies on the floor and spreads a nice aroma. The sauna in the main building is closed. What I took negatively was, among other things, that the clock in the room with the leather armchairs is ~ 10 minutes ahead, there are no wristbands for the keys, the pool is not really full or heated (which of course is always a question of cost, or is intended that way) , the bell melody mentioned above.Simply horrible. See for yourself...As a positive, IT IS CLEAN!I really have to emphasize that the facility is clean and well maintained as far as possible. The sauna heater is powered by wood and gives off better heat. There is also an informative website that I recommend checking out. Conclusion:You can see from the entire facility that it is a bit older.Almost everything is at least 40 years old, and very, very no.Almost everything was somehow self-built.With attention to detail 👍So if you're "just" looking for a hot sauna without a lot of fuss, you should come by.I'm currently visiting the sauna. regularly. The day of the visit included July 12, 2024Alexander LöhmerThere is probably one for the future"Renovation" planned, but that is still in preparation.Further information is best available locally.
