Very friendly staff, helpful. Good breakfast, centrally located. Rooms quiet, furnishings simple, not brand new, but great beds.

We booked a double room and got a twin room with the beds against the wall. Of course not so nice as a couple, but we could come to terms with that. What absolutely didn't work was the smell of feces in the bathroom, which could only be alleviated briefly by spraying with a room spray. Unfortunately we didn't meet anyone there and when we left the lady wasn't at all interested in what our stay was like. The situation is positive. The house is just a few minutes' walk from the train station and you can be in the city and the beach in just a few minutes

The hotel is run by very friendly staff. It is very quiet, although it is close to the beach and the city center. At breakfast, scrambled or fried eggs are freshly prepared upon request. There are cereals, fruit, rolls, bread, boiled eggs, various spreads and cold cuts, tomatoes and mozzarella. You also get coffee or tea. There is a small kitchenette with a kettle next to the reception. The only suggestions for improvement: Insect protection on the windows would be helpful and not only public channels should be available on television. A few more vegetables (e.g. cucumber, peppers) would be a nice change at breakfast. We were very satisfied with the room service and can definitely recommend the hotel!

It's getting a bit old, I don't want to say anything more about it.

Small house in a central location. Our double room was in the basement. A small window could only be tilted. Good thing it wasn't that warm, so it was okay. Big drawback - the bathroom with a very small shower cannot be ventilated and there is no suction. Breakfast was okay - nothing special. Service at breakfast very good.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. It is very centrally located, the beach is around the corner, as is the train station, the "downtown" and an island market (Edeka).Checking in was easy, we got to the hotel relatively late, the key was already ready! Reception wasn't manned, but that was okay. The rooms are (for my taste) a bit old-fashioned with lots of wood. Nevertheless, everything you needed could be found, bathroom was clean, towels available.Breakfast was delicious! Fresh rolls, good toppings, scrambled eggs, muesli etc.Staff was very friendly. The biggest plus point is the flexibility! My mom came spontaneously for one night and, thanks to an extra bed, she was even able to sleep in our room for a really small extra charge. Thanks for that! We'd love to come back!

The Passat is a quiet little house with clean rooms - a great middle ground for anyone who wants to spend a few days in Borkum in a quiet yet central location, doesn't need excessive luxury but still wants to be comfortably accommodated. In terms of size, the house is on the borderline between a guesthouse and a hotel. There are few staff, but they are correct and polite and do a good job. Paying by card is also possible again (including credit card via cell phone). You only have to pay the spa tax in cash.

We were in the hotel with a group and all special requests were fulfilled without comment. Rooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast from the buffet with fresh rolls, scrambled eggs or fried eggs. There was fresh fruit in the basket every morning. Our expectations were far exceeded. We will definitely come back again.Thank you!Peter Doden

The hotel offers visitors everything they need to stay close to the beach, centrally and quietly. The service is top. What could be improved is the information after booking online, where you can find your room key when you want to check in for the first time - the fact that the employees in the direction of the town have to take their smoke breaks in front of the house and room windows is not for everyone. But the breakfast offering is more than satisfactory. The cleaning service is exemplary. I always book this hotel, even when I'm traveling alone.
