We had a short vacation in Borkum.It was great, nice contact from booking to checking out.Any “extra requests” (second pillow 🙈) were addressed immediately.A great, great room, the breakfast really left nothing to be desired.The location couldn't be better, 50 meters to the beach and town.I could go on raving for hours.One of the best and most service-oriented hotels in a long time!!Thanks again to the whole team for the wonderful days with you!!

We stayed in the hotel for three nights and were thrilled, the breakfast buffet was very rich and the staff always had a smile. It doesn't take more than 2 minutes to walk to the beach. We'd love to come back!

This was our fourth time in Borkum.As in the last three years, this year we were completely satisfied with the accommodation in the Strandhotel Janine, double room comfort with balcony. The room was equipped with a kettle, refrigerator and safe.Once again everything was perfect!The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean, the location was great - just a five-minute walk to the beach and the center.As always, the breakfast buffet was the highlight of the day.Rich selection, delicious and something for everyone.A fully automatic coffee machine was also available (cappuccino, latte macchiato, etc.).All guests received a “breakfast mail” with information about the weather, upcoming events and interesting things about the day.And because we liked it so much, our next stay has already been booked!

A very nice hotel in a central location. Great breakfast. Unfortunately, since I was here on business, I couldn't use it every day. But a packed lunch was prepared for me every morning. It was very nice to organize a rental bike for me, which I wouldn't have been able to do myself if I arrived late. Very friendly staff. And the single room is also very pretty.

We were there in July 2024. Very good hotel: close to the main beach and the center, quietly located. Top breakfast, only the breakfast room has very tight seating. Although there is a large selection of rolls, their quality does not quite match bakery rolls (prepared/ready baked goods).

This was our second time in the hotel and it was just as good as the previous time. The employees are all courteous and always have an open ear. They are helpful and try to help immediately when problems arise. Thank you for the lovely holiday.One thing I would like to tell the complainers when I book a hotel that is centrally located where other hotels are right next door. I can't go out with the window open until early at night. People walk past in front of the house (main route to the promenade) talking loudly. You shouldn't bother with the hotel and just book another hotel.We can only recommend the hotel and it will be our first choice when staying in Borkum again. Hello until then

Very nice quiet little hotel. Short distances to the beach and center. Rich, good breakfast buffet.Staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. The bed is very comfortable.However, I was missing a small kettle.This was my second time there and I'll definitely be back.Can recommend the hotel to everyone.

We stayed three nights in room 32, the room is across the corner on the ground floor in the backyard. Unfortunately, there is a wake-up call every day from around 6:15 a.m. The employees of a neighboring clinic and apparently also of the hotel have their smoking area about 5m away from the room as the crow flies. Unfortunately, they don't think about the fact that there are paying guests who would like to sleep until 8 a.m. or later. You're so close that you can clearly hear the loud conversations when you're lying in bed. Maybe tell everyone to speak a little quieter in the morning.By the way, other guests felt the same way, as we found out at breakfast.Otherwise the hotel is just great, a great breakfast, super nice staff and a great location 1 minute from the beach. We would book there again... (but no room at the back)

We spent almost a week there and were very satisfied.The breakfast buffet is great, lots of choice, something for everyone. The room was very clean.The hotel is located close to the beach and it is not far to the center.What we complain about is that the shower tray in our room was very smooth, actually mirror-smooth. We could no longer shower barefoot, only with flip flops.That's why a star deducted from the 'room' category.But otherwise always happy.

We have now been to the Hotel Strandvilla Janine for the third time in a row, even though the weather was unfortunately not good at all this time, we had a great place to retreat to in the Strandvilla. Short distances, even in the rain… and a good start every day with an excellent breakfast. Everything fine.

A hotel with style and charm. The location is central, 200m to the beach promenade, 400m to the center, but absolutely quiet. The breakfast is excellent and extensive. The service staff is friendly and attentive and is constantly being topped up. There is no individually packaged butter, jam, tea bags or anything else, extremely environmentally friendly. Free carbonated and non-carbonated water is available for you to tap yourself 24 hours a day, and you can also fill it into bottles you bring with you. The beds are comfortable with a pleasant level of hardness. The bathroom is sufficient and there is enough space in the shower. The rooms are relatively small, but absolutely sufficient; on vacation I don't spend the day in the room. We will book the beach villa Janine again on our next Borkum vacation.

We booked a room in the beach villa Janine for the second time at Easter. This time the room was really great. With balcony and sea view. Everything else was just as great as last time. Great breakfast, great service. We'd love to come back.
