The hotel is centrally located, you can reach everything by public transport. Great hiking area. Interesting roof terrace.You only have contact with staff/hotel management when checking in/out, not a personal conversation.

We were there for 4 nights. A very nice little hotel, centrally located, everything was within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was new. The breakfast was definitely sufficient, we took fruit with us every day for our tours around the place. Nice roof terrace to end the day

I would like to rate it higher but Google only gives me 5 stars.It is a wonderfully beautiful little hotel, especially the hallway and the furnishings were very old, but very beautifully preserved and furnished. Not to mention the room furnishings, very modern and newly made. There wasn't a single speck of dust to be found (own quirk of checking that), big praise to the cleaning staff, thank you for that. The only “point of criticism” for me personally was that the pillow was too soft (but that’s my own personal opinion)Breakfast was always sufficient and there was something different to enjoy every day.Overall, great service, the landlady is very hospitable!The surrounding area is of course wonderful to look at, even if you're not in hiking mode there are plenty of options :)We'll definitely be back!And I recommend this to everyone who reads this!!

Everything was perfect, perfect for a short vacation! The roof terrace is great and simply fantastic 👍 and the cleanliness is also very special!

We had a very nice 4 day stay. The late check-in went smoothly and easily via SMS. The room was always clean. The equipment is completely sufficient. There was a lack of loving design in the rooms and each room was very noisy. Breakfast always had a good selection. The staff was very friendly.

Very nice guesthouse, top breakfast, super friendly hostess. Old building but in great shape. Rooms and bathrooms are furnished in a more modern style, the dining room is charmingly rustic. Beautiful terrace above the roofs of Bad Schandau. Everything very clean and well-kept. Wishes and concerns are fulfilled easily.We felt very comfortable.Worth a recommendation👍

Four day short break and a nice, simple hotel where you receive a very friendly welcome. The front door is locked most of the time. The entertainment room is also used for registration and this is where people meet every morning for a simple, delicious and changing breakfast buffet. The house itself has charming alcoves and a large roof terrace, which can be reached via a narrow iron staircase. In summer you can enjoy the beautiful view while eating.The rooms are simple and clean. A third bed is hidden in the hall closet.The bathroom is spacious and sparkling clean, but no shelves for toiletry bags, for example.It's a shame that there are no kitchen utensils (we simply grabbed plates and cutlery from the dining room).Brochures have been laid out and beautiful tours are within walking distance and also accessible to the public. With the guest cards you are given straight away you have free travel on local public transport and various discounts. So always take it with you.Parking is included and just around the corner. A short stop at the entrance is possible to unload/load.All in all it was really nice and highly recommended.

In my opinion it does NOT deserve the name “hotel”! It's more like a guesthouse! Positive: reasonably priced, varied simple breakfast, nice woman checking in and out, free parking nearby; Negative: no reception, staff only there when checking in and out, no minibar / kettle / drinks, no shower bath / shampoo, old heating system (constant knocking), old windows (from GDR times), noisy, TV not connected (power plug under plaster and hidden behind curtains, only found out when checking out), no brochures for excursions available, construction site next door with noise from 7:00 / 7:30 a.m., hole in bed sheets, bill received without bill recipient, curtains not darkening, no coffee machine in the prince room
