Rooms are beautifully decorated. Old building deluxe. Breakfast great for price/performance. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the shower isn't great. Come here regularly for business.

As part of our bike tour, we spent one night in the hotel's guest house in the Herzlieb room - spacious, very clean and nice room. Delicious breakfast, nice staff. Great central location in a historic building. Gladly again at any time!

The hotel is a gem in the heart of the city. We had the "Brussels" room for 3 nights - fantastic. Cafés, restaurants, museums, etc. Everything is in the immediate vicinity - even a fairly spacious parking garage for the safe storage of your car. An absolute recommendation for all visitors to the city of Görlitz

Beware of Room Eight!!We stayed in this hotel for one night to take a look at Görlitz.We're not snobbers who value luxury, but we do want to feel comfortable in a room, even if it's just for one night. And the price-performance ratio on the homepage convinced us, if not a little surprised. Called, asked and there were still two rooms available; We didn't want to have separate beds and a room that wasn't shown on the half board. Well, I thought to myself, we'll take that, it'll probably be similar to the one on the HP.Puppy cake!Check out the pictures! I was amazed how a hotel, which may/would like to be the first in the area, would rent out a room like that. The breakfast room and breakfast were great and plentiful, so we were extremely satisfied. The two ladies we met were friendly and were always able to help with questions. But we didn't expect that spacious broom closet we were given, no decorations, holes in the walls, a dingy linoleum floor and what looks like it should be a closet.The room with parking and breakfast for two people was very cheap; even if there was no WiFi, although it was listed on the bill. However, we were a bit frightened that someone would run a hotel like this and rent out a room like that.That somehow doesn't fit together.So beware of room eight in the guest house!

We stayed in the 'Paris' room for two nights. The furnishings correspond to the house, Biedermaier furniture, golden chandeliers, some chests of drawers and dressing tables. Bathroom, very generously tiled with natural stone. The staircase and side rooms make a royal impression. The large house only has 15 rooms. Very good location on the Untermarkt. Booking the room was uncomplicated, a call on site, a short consultation, the room was reserved and used two weeks later. Payment possible on site by credit card or on account. These are the positive points.When we arrived we discovered that six lights in the room and one in the bathroom were defective, a brief report when registering and they were replaced, but after a short time two were defective again.The halogen lights above the tub and on the bathroom ceiling are not inserted correctly and are hanging halfway out of the plasterboard cladding. Just doesn't make a good impression. You may want to hire electrical specialists to repair the defects. It would also be great to hang some old pictures in the spacious rooms, that would reinforce the stately impression and enhance some of the bare walls. Another annoyance was the breakfast. The breakfast room is okay, but the presentation and arrangement is in no way consistent with the stately home. It has the level of a youth hostel. You get carelessly arranged plates of sausage and cheese on the table, coffee from a thermos flask, little choice at the buffet, bread and rolls counted out, some yoghurt, few fresh vegetables, packaged jam and liver sausage, no musical accompaniment, the kitchen staff could be a little friendlier be. It's a shame that this is the case, because if you live in a high-priced property, you'll want to notice something about it at breakfast. We hope that you will see the points of criticism listed as a challenge and work on them, then we will be happy to come back.

Centrally in Görlitz, a house with history and outbuildings, my room facing the Untermarkt on the 3rd floor with a lift and beautiful Biedermeier furniture. Luxury in the shower room. Small breakfast buffet. Unfortunately no television channels available.

We received a warm welcome and found a beautiful, large room in the guest house.The breakfast was good and there was a nice atmosphere in the hotel opposite.All in all: it was really nice.

Very tastefull. Upscale ambience and yet uncomplicated. Good home bar! Beds fantastic. We slept wonderfully. Breakfast very good. Totally friendly staff. The city of Görlitz is worth a trip. But also the hotel. We will be back.

Centrally located, very nice rooms with an excellent symbiosis between historical and modern.If you arrive by car, you should definitely book a garage space.Price/performance fits and we will definitely come here again.

Perfect location in a most beautiful square.Rooms very large and beautiful and most comfortable.Breakfast really good with good variety, works mostly as buffet.The building is amazing.However reception is quirky particularly if you do not have a level of German.But the rest was so good it was a minor detail.
