The room was clean and tidy. All in all, the hotel is getting old and needs a complete renovation.The carpets are old, the stairwell smells and the furnishings are no longer up to date.If you're only coming here for a few days and just to stay overnight, there's nothing wrong with the price, but it's not recommended for a longer stay.

You can only book via booking.com.The reception is more or less staffed by non-German speaking staff.There is no breakfast.Dinner is not possible here either!It's just an accommodation with inadequate room facilities!All in all it's not worth the prices!

An outdated hotel. The young man was friendly and showed us the room. There was an unpleasant smell of "toilet" in the stairwell (to put it mildly) and there was also a bit of a smell in the room itself. Thank God you could open the window. Worn carpet everywhere. The water didn't drain in the shower. Still, a plus point is that everything was clean and the towels and bed linen smelled like freshly washed laundry. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and no breakfast is offered.

Unprofessional and poorly organized. I even had a booking with a time of arrival. There was no one in the reception at 7:00 p.m., I had to wait 40 minutes. One bill was initially rejected. They didn't know that the room had already been paid for and I had to prove it.

Room booked and paid for. Upon arrival it was claimed that the room had water damage and could not be occupied. No information or call in advance. The alleged boss cheekily lied on the phone that we could not be reached by phone. No apology or replacement. The employee on site speaks no German or didn't want to understand us. A report of suspected fraud was filed

I don't know what the bad reviews here are about - but I was completely satisfied. Room was clean and tidy, towels were provided, room is also very large and spacious. The parking lot is also large enough. WiFi etc. Works great too.I was very satisfied.But if you come here with a navigation system, you have to be careful - it's a bit hidden.

PLEASE AVOID:I have never experienced such a run-down, dump-like overnight accommodation called a hotel that is in need of renovation. Water stains on the walls, broken shower cubicles and bathroom fittings, windows that cannot be opened, yellowed wallpaper, lamps without shades and the existing lampshades were old, dirty, stained and disgusting.NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

This was probably the worst, run down and most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. Already in advance, a request was not answered at all. We were in town for a concert and thought it would be fine for one night. I actually always read the recessions beforehand, but unfortunately not here (stress). The room that was given to us, you can see it in the photos. Unfortunately, asking another question didn't work, no one could be found. The room was not only very outdated, it was dirty, broken and so on. The window didn't open, it was drafty, the mattresses felt like they were from the last millennium. There was no contact person, and no one could be found even when checking out. Give it a wide berth. My niece said about the condition of the hotel, that's how horror films begin.

Our room was very run down and resembled a cheap flophouse. Very dirty and a lot broken. From the curtain to the lampshades, the window didn't close at all. The bathroom was a disaster. Never again. We didn't eat, so I can't rate the cuisine.

Booking the hotel stubbornly was the biggest mistake you could have made. The floor was very dirty throughout the room, so you couldn't let your child crawl. The mattress has holes. And the baby bed we booked wasn't available at all.Not even worth 1 starWe then looked for new accommodation

Stayed for one night as cyclists.The room was very small, but furnished to a relatively high standard.The bathroom was spacious.The breakfast was definitely not worth the €11 and was very clear.The overnight price was ok.The location was central and good.

The staff are friendly and polite. When registering, it was only on the third attempt to get the right room. The hotel was one of the first hotels in Riesa many years ago, but is getting very old. In the bathroom, a missing side window in the shower cubicle was replaced with a shower curtain, the towel holder was so damaged that you couldn't hang towels on it and one of the two lampshades on the mirror was missing. When I tried to open the window in the room, it almost killed me. When I asked about breakfast, I was shocked because the price per person was 12 euros. One thing is certain for us: not again and we will not recommend the hotel to anyone else.

Went to eat and had to wait until someone opened the door. There was a very strange smell in the entrance area leading up to the hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience of the restaurant. Bread was fresh and good, but the stains on the tablecloth and the canned pizza sauce weren't great.At least the service made an effort and was friendly, which partly made up for it. But I wouldn't go back until the façade at the top of the hotel was done and the toilets were cleaned.

Unfortunately the hotel is “underground”. Equipment and furnishings are in extreme need of renovation. Missing towels, dirty floors, dirty showers, lots of cracked tiles in the bathroom and poorly painted walls are just a few things that just don't work when you call yourself a “hotel”. Bedding on the left, wobbly sockets and much more cloud the rating. We definitely won't be staying here again. Find out more in a review on booking.com.The restaurant, on the other hand, deserves 5 stars, so three stars as a compromise, since it is operated independently of the hotel and the hotelier obviously only wants to benefit from its good reviews. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and always concerned about the guests' satisfaction. The food is incredibly tasty (we tested pizza parma and turkey with mushrooms) and we would eat here again at any time.
