Pension Grandel

Clean, tidy, good breakfast and very friendly pension management. We'd love to come back 👍

Absolutely NO recommendation! We have reserved rooms for our guests at Pension Grandel for our wedding in 2020. Some have made firm bookings and have already paid for them in full.When we had to postpone our wedding, we asked the owners to carry over the bookings we had already made to the following year. I was confirmed in writing that all reservations will of course be taken over and that the guests will not suffer any financial disadvantages as a result of the postponement.Three weeks before the wedding in 2021, it turned out that the bookings no longer existed and payments could no longer be found because there were supposedly problems in the system, which meant that our guests could not be offered any of the rooms (which had already been paid for in full!). Instead, we and our guests were accused of saying that we should have made sure that everything was going well with the booking, since everyone would probably do it that way. However, correspondence with the owners clearly said otherwise. The reason we were also told was that all weddings had been canceled this year, so it was assumed that our celebration had also been canceled...Only when we threatened to take further steps did our guests receive their money back after a lot of frustration and worry (and several weeks and questions). However, the owners no longer wanted to accommodate my parents. They ultimately found what they were looking for somewhere else and were happy not to have to spend the night at Pension Grandel.The owners showed no insight and left me very disappointed. We would have liked to have saved ourselves this hassle and stress just before the wedding! Definitely not a recommendation! :(

nice apartment, clean and cozy

A very nice guesthouse. We all liked it. Very nice hosts, a nice, clean and very well-kept guesthouse as well as a really nicely decorated breakfast.

Great accommodation and a super nice landlady. We felt very comfortable.

We were there for a long weekend. We liked it very much. The rooms were comfortably furnished. The breakfast was really tasty and the conversations with the owner were very pleasant.

I was on a business trip and spent one night in the guesthouse. the room was very clean and cozy. I slept great. The breakfast was awesome. It made me feel at home. The hostess was very nice. We had a nice conversation. If I were to be near there again I would always stop there again.

An idyllic property and a warm hostess. The holiday rooms lack nothing in terms of love and care. And you can (but don't have to) do a lot for your health and fitness together with Ms. Bäsler. An all-round package that is second to none. I'll definitely come back!!!!
