Have celebrated here several times. The service is quick and you never sit there with an empty glass. Cozy atmosphere. Food tastes good, but is very oily.

I was looking for a room at short notice for September*24 and received an immediate response via email and telephone and I was even able to rebook my accommodation day. Although I traveled alone, I was given a large holiday apartment for up to 3 people. Everything was very clean and up to date. I wasn't staying in the main building but a few meters away on Steinbergstrasse. Directly in front of the accommodation there was only parking space for on/off charging.Since I arrived with a motorcycle, it wasn't easy to park my bike at the beginning due to the hillside location of the restaurant/pension. But with calm and patience it was done quickly. Food/breakfast buffet was fresh and employees were friendly and helpful.I will definitely use it again for future trips to Meissen.

We stayed in the guesthouse for 1 week in July. We had a holiday apartment on the side street. This was newly renovated from the outside and the inside. The rooms were clean and it was also very quiet. We had over 30 degrees every day of the week and the apartment didn't heat up. Unfortunately there were no fly screens on the windows, so we had a lot of mosquitoes.What we noticed negatively was that we were greeted rudely by the boss/owner on the first day. No smile, no question as to whether we found our way here safely. When we left and handed over the key early in the morning, she looked at us strangely when we said we were leaving. She then just told her employee that she should settle everything. The boss herself didn't ask how we liked it, whether we had a nice stay, etc. She then walked away without saying goodbye. I've never experienced anything so unfriendly.

Spontaneous decision, got two more seats... Very friendly and quick service... The food on offer was sufficient, especially tasty... Cozy little terrace... We'd be happy to come by again and would recommend it... Greetings

I can't say anything about the room facilities, I was only a restaurant guest. The selection of dishes, unfortunately also the quality and style of presentation: well, a bit disappointing for so much money. I'll try again later, maybe there will be an asterisk. Hopefully

We visited Germany, coming from the USA. My son lives in Germany and wanted to join us in Meissen. Unfortunately, our hotel was fully booked, so we booked the Schweizerhaus, not knowing that the rooms were in a completely different house. We received such an unfriendly welcome at the hotel that my son felt very uncomfortable staying there. We found another option, paid for the hotel and left immediately. I had a really bad feeling from the moment I arrived. Natural friendliness is all I want.

Nice restaurant with a nice terrace. The food was tasty, a good selection of different dishes and polite service. One star deducted because food for children arrived later than for adults - an experienced waitress would manage it differently. Still a clear recommendation.

Went to the guesthouse for a short vacation. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast is awesome. Everything your heart desires. The staff friendly and helpful. Always very happy

Over Easter we stayed in the “Schweizer Haus” guesthouse in Meißen. We booked a holiday apartment with breakfast and couldn't complain. The guesthouse is 2 minutes from the porcelain factory. The cathedral and the Albrechtsburg can also be easily reached on foot.We had a one-bedroom apartment and found it to be really big. There would even have been enough space for 4-5 people.Everything you needed was there in the kitchen. The bathroom is large, has a bathtub and a shower and a window.There is a communal terrace where you can definitely sit well. You even have the opportunity to grill there.I also wanted to mention the wellness area. But I can't really write anything about it because we didn't use it.The breakfast was great. There was homemade jam, fresh scrambled eggs and everything else you know. It was filled up quickly and any intolerances were addressed.In the evening we usually ate in the guesthouse's restaurant. There is really good German cuisine there. Highly recommended!Meissen is a very interesting city. We haven't seen everything yet. When we come back, we'll go to the "Schweizerhaus" again!

We had a FW, well set up, nothing was missing. Great location, close to the city. Directly at the Meissen Porcelain Museum. Everything is easy to reach on foot. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and we really enjoyed the food. The staff and service were very attentive. We felt very comfortable all around. We would like to come again.
