We happened upon the Gasthof Zum Hobel on the way home because we were simply hungry. Since we were traveling by motorcycle and the parking lot is very sloping, we were allowed to park on the side of the house where it was level. The service was extremely nice and accommodating. The menu was clear because the dishes are freshly prepared. And you can taste it. There were also two daily recommendations. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We were persuaded to have dessert: crème brûlée. Mmmm, delicious. We didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. Hence the high rating, so as not to blur the cut. I'm also convinced that there's nothing to complain about. The inn is biker-friendly and we will definitely stop here again on our tours.Dear Carola, it was very nice with you!

Unfortunately we only stayed one night...But the inn really left a positive and lasting impression in terms of cleanliness, friendliness and comfort. Also at breakfast... Very attentive and diligent about whether we have any requests. Everything fresh and delicious.Above all, it doesn't have the typical hotel flair and is overcrowded, but rather has a family-like feel and is absolutely comfortable. If we're looking for somewhere to stay again... then we'd love to come back here.

I always come to Frenkhausen privately at irregular intervals and enjoy the offerings on the house menu. The Krüstchen wins by far compared to the local competition. The atmosphere in the house and the friendliness of the staff are convincing. I'd still like to come.

I came across this restaurant by chance. Great to reach via the A45.Definitely worth a break.Parking options at the house.Beer garden / terrace large and also easily accessible for wheelchairs, walkers and strollers!Inside there is a large counter, nice large tables for regulars or groups of friends. The card on one side, plus a daily recommendation.Something for everyone. There were five of us there and everyone had something different… everything was delicious….The service is with the guest. Every wish that can be fulfilled will be fulfilled!Dessert…..simply awesome!Unfortunately, I didn't have a cell phone with me. Next time there will be more photos!

We were there for lunch, so no review of the rooms! After a super friendly welcome, we were able to choose whether we wanted to sit inside or on the terrace. There is a manageable menu with something for every taste (including 2 vegetarian ones) - plus two daily specials that are not on the menu. Everything very tasty and fresh. The whole thing is rounded off by a very attentive and friendly service! We were definitely not there for the last time!
