We stayed with the Struve family in Grandpa Hans' holiday home in October. The house is a dream. It was very clean, the kitchen was almost better equipped than at home. We felt completely comfortable.

Great, really great holiday home. Really from the dream. Beautifully large with over 200 square meters of space for up to 7 people! Suitable for people with disabilities, everything you need is there. 10 out of 10 from me :)

Grandpa Hans' holiday home from the Struve family is truly unparalleled. We have never experienced a holiday accommodation that was so fully equipped and of such high quality. It starts with a kitchen that leaves hardly any (holiday) wishes unfulfilled, continues through clean and well-furnished rooms to loving details such as the Pharisee cups in the living room cupboard, which, as a gimmick, include the history of the drink and of course in the recipe or the Bluetooth sound box with laminated instructions. In every room you can really feel how much passion the Struve family put into creating a temporary home here. It was also an incredibly great place to stay for us because we came with three generations. As parents with a six-month-old child, we were very happy about the family bed in the bedroom on the first floor. A large lying area where our offspring could snuggle up safely between mom and dad with plenty of space. We also had a wheelchair user with us, for whom the ramp to the ideally located side entrance, right next to the parking spaces and garage, allowed independent access to the house. Everything in the house is so spacious that you can get around very easily with a self-propelled wheelchair. The electrically adjustable nursing bed is also helpful. The house is not barrier-free, but it is very barrier-free. If you need specific information about this, please contact Ms. Struve, she will do everything she can to provide helpful answers. This holiday home is also wonderfully quiet. Apart from the cuckoo and the sheep on the dike, we rarely heard anything about the area. It is in such a calming location that you would only have to leave the house to go shopping and still enjoy a very relaxing holiday. And if you don't have any entertainment for rainy days, you don't have to go hungry.Numerous books are available, as well as a few board games, a playroom for children including table football and a dart board in the garage and a selection of films round off Grandpa Hans' entertainment program. The large Smart TV in the living room is also able to access YouTube, Netflix and Co. So anyone who has an account can use it without any problems. When the weather is nice, the terrace with a beach chair, seating area, sun loungers and chairs invites you to linger and grill on the gas grill.Bottom line, an absolute recommendation! We wish many more guests here a great rest and the Struve family only great guests who appreciate the great offer.PS: I haven't written anything about the location and the possibilities in the area, everyone has different requirements and should form their own opinion using travel guides, Google Maps, etc. What you should know: Bathing beaches are not that common on the North Sea, but the tides are somewhat unfavorable. If you would like to go to a beach, you should consider a trip to St. Peter Ording or Büsum (note: tourist tax is due there).
