A quiet hotel, unfortunately on weekends breakfast is only available from 8 a.m., if you had to leave urgently, there was no accommodation. What a shame!

Very nice country house. I felt comfortable from the start. We had a choir weekend here.The rooms are modern and clean.The food varied and delicious.You can start hiking directly from the country house.It was a very nice stay. 😊

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights 4 days for our community holiday (approx. 40 adults & 50 children). The location was very nice and the staff was always friendly but everything else was very disappointing. Rooms full of dust, no clean towels, some even completely covered in animal hair. The room wasn't cleaned, everything was left lying on the already dirty floor. Empty care product bottles. Pool is extremely cold. The food was very, very bad, we starved for 3 days and unfortunately there was no place to eat in the immediate vicinity. No fresh food, all ready-made products. In comparison to other hotels, here only coffee and tea are offered in the morning, no extras and for dinner, rolls from the morning and only water is served. The bar is permanently closed. For the most part we were very disappointed

We stayed in the house as a congregation for 3 nights and 4 days (01/08 - 04/08/24).I'm sorry but the food was terrible. The food was tasteless like something out of a can. Despite asking, we didn't get a single warm drink for dinner for the 3 nights we spent there. According to some community members, the towels were covered in dog hair and the toiletries bottles were all empty. The establishment needs improvement and it is best if they take the critics and work on their service.

We had a lovely weekend in the hotel, everything was perfect, from the boss to the service. We were also impressed by the food, everything was prepared fresh and delicious. We traveled as a couple. I had read the advertisement on Facebook and wanted to surprise my husband. The head of the house was very helpful in supporting me in my project. When we arrived we were greeted very friendly. You had the feeling of stopping by friends. The room was very lovingly decorated. About towels, sauna towels. Bathrobes, slippers, mineral water and sweets were all there. The bathroom is new and modern. The beds very comfortable. Not too soft but not too hard either. There is also a small living room, with attractive furniture. From your own balcony you have a great view over the Sauerland. The house has a very special charm. It radiates a special calm. At 6 p.m. we attended the dinner buffet. The food was great 😋 delicious. Kudos to the kitchen. We received a welcome drink of our choice. My husband and I decided on a wine and sought advice. What can I say: The service exceeded our expectations. After dinner we visited the wellness area. The swimming pool and sauna were also great. There is even a screened off area for small children. To end the evening we visited the bar. It was really nice. We then fell into bed happy and tired. After a quiet night, we went to the restaurant for breakfast. The tables there were lovingly set. The buffet was great. (no baked rolls or packaged sausage) Everything fresh and plentiful) The house is furnished with a lot of love in all areas and the staff are very, very accommodating. Although we only spent one night there, it felt like a longer vacation. The house is really recommended and worth highlighting. Anyone who wants to experience something special should go here. Also recommended for families with children. There are playgrounds outside and the extensive grounds are ideal for walks. Regardless of whether you are young or old, it is simply a great place for everyone. Before I forget, dogs are also welcome here. Conclusion: The surprise was a success and we are really, really grateful for the great time. Thanks everyone and keep it up!LGBridgetPS: We'll definitely be back!

The conclusion in advance: Always happy!!!We traditionally meet up with old college friends twice a year to play Doppelkopf and hike. Since we have already stayed several times in the chalets in the Harzresort and at Lake Diemel, our meeting should take place somewhere else this time. We found what we were looking for in the Nordhelle country house, where we spent the time from November 10th to November 12th, 2023. The house is very quiet in Meinerzhagen in the OT Valbert. The staff here are without exception extremely friendly, the rooms are clean and immaculate and you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Sauerland. The hiking routes start directly at the house. We were able to warm up in the spacious sauna after our hikes. We found refreshment in the huge pool (approx. 20x10 meters), which also includes a non-swimmer area. We didn't use the bowling alley, which was also available, due to time constraints. The fireplace room was made available to us for playing Doppelkopf in the evening. We felt very comfortable here. Since the hotel bar wasn't open all night, a refrigerator filled with the drinks we wanted was set up. Both breakfast and dinner are more than satisfactory considering the exceptionally good price-performance ratio.

I can't rate the rooms because I didn't stay overnight. I organized a conference there. Everything was ok. Coffee and conference drinks were good and sufficient. The meeting room was well equipped. Dinner was good. Communication worked well. Thanks to Ms. Weis and her colleagues.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days because we took part in a seminar.The location was very nice, surrounded by greenery, but the hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. Rooms are not cleaned, so no clean towels etc. No toiletries or anything like that. The food was so bad that we starved for 3 days. We also had no opportunity to eat outside in the immediate vicinity. Normally I know this from every other hotel that offers coffee or tea before and between breaks. Here only once a day. So I wouldn't voluntarily book this hotel again. Many other seminar participants also had the same opinion. Very unfortunate...

On September 9th, 2023 we were able to celebrate our wedding in these beautiful rooms in the country house.It was a dream for us. Everything fit perfectly.The team is very friendly and is very responsive to the wishes of the bride and groom.The food, the rooms, the view of the greenery, the rooms and the friendly staff round everything off for a lovely celebration.We can only recommend every bride and groom to celebrate there and enjoy the beautiful and warm atmosphere.

First of all, super nice staff, everyone tried very hard. Unfortunately, in this beautiful country house you can see that it is unfortunately being run to ruin due to the need to save money. Everything is missing. Staff, pool is freezing cold, and what's a real shame is the kitchen. It is probably no longer in operation, there is no a la carte food but only a buffet with Stino canteen food. The breakfast was also more than spartan. It's a shame, the house had real potential, but the management will probably be able to better assess how the house should be run.

We were there as participants for the first time... at the annual conference of FOP Germany e.V.... in Valbert in the Landhaus Nordhelle in July 2023...... the Landhaus Nordhelle and the team impressed us...In addition to the equipment of a hotel, "the software" also counts... here I give 100 out of 100 points... the team contributed wonderfully and excellently to enriching the annual meeting... THANK YOU!!!!The technology for such an event was also TOP... We had a hybrid format with an international stream...Thank you, we look forward to seeing you again in 2024

The Nordhelle country house is beautifully and quietly located with a fantastic view away from the hustle and bustle...arrive, feel good and relax. We can only recommend this lovingly run hotel and would come back at any time. We were thrilled by the location, view, size, furnishings, rooms, wellness fitness area, rooms, simply everything and especially the friendly staff who fulfilled our every wish. The breakfast and dinner, which you can also enjoy on the great outdoor terrace, were very varied and delicious. Everything is decorated in warm colors, light and with beautiful details. There are beautiful, cozy seating areas around and in the house that invite you to linger. The well-equipped fitness room, the beautiful indoor pool/sauna with sun terrace, as well as a bowling alley, table football or billiards also offer enough variety. All rooms in the hotel can be reached effortlessly and easily with elevators, stairs, but also barrier-free, which we found great for wheelchair users, strollers, etc. The house is located on extensive, well-kept grounds with a children's playground and other outdoor activities, where young and old can let off steam or simply relax without traffic.
