The owner of this guesthouse was very nice once you saw him. It was short and sweet when checking in or when he asked for an egg for breakfast, which you knew 10 minutes later when you had already eaten your sandwich. Which only came in the form of wheat, which isn't for everyone. Otherwise there was only cold meat and cheese, a type of yogurt and muesli. The smoked fish, which was never eaten, was back on the buffet for the next 4 days. We missed a bit of tea sausage, quark, cream cheese or fruit at this price!!! The tea water for my husband was only enough for 1.5 cups and the coffee was also very scarce. You couldn't request supplies either because the operator didn't show up. The beds and the rooms were very comfortable, but also very dusty and infested with spiders and mosquitoes. The first morning in the shower we had to remove the hair drain so that the water could drain away. The heater in the bathroom didn't get warm either! There are savings being made at every corner, so the price-performance ratio isn't right at all! We know cheaper guesthouses with better conditions and a varied breakfast. And we are certainly not demanding. But this vacation wasn't worth the money.

A bed and breakfast in my opinion. The operator gave us a briefing on arrival, short and to the point and the rest has to be read carefully. Well, we could have asked him for breakfast, but we didn't. The North German, you have to understand them. In our opinion, a renovation of the apartment would sometimes be necessary. But it is a very good starting point for exploring northern Germany.

Really enjoyed my stay there. It was nice and quiet and you can easily reach everything on Nordstrand from the guesthouse.The owner is super friendly and accommodating.I would book again and again.

Absolutely recommended! A great room with very comfortable beds, clean and well maintained. A small kitchenette with a refrigerator and a really beautifully landscaped outdoor area with tables and chairs. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of choice and there are absolutely delicious fresh rolls. The owner is very friendly, helpful and has lots of tips about local destinations. We'd love to come back there.

We were there just a week. Super nice owner, very attentive and friendly. We had an apartment and a single room. The decor of the rooms is nice and modern, everything is clean, the beds are very comfortable, we slept very well! The apartment has a small kitchenette, everything you need to conjure up a little something for dinner. There is a very well-kept garden with a pond. Various seating areas with tables are also available so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful area outside. Long walks over the island's dikes are also possible, as are trips in all directions - Husum, Eiderstedt, Amrum, Sylt and Föhr as well as Flensburg and Denmark can be reached quickly and easily. The breakfast is great, there is everything you need for a good start to the day. Coffee, tea, juice, attractive sausage and cheese platters as well as fish and salads and the sweet palate is also taken into account and there is an egg for breakfast on request. Above all, there are fresh and crispy rolls every day (even on Sundays and public holidays!!!)! The price-performance ratio is great! We had nothing to complain about, recommend without reservation and would be happy to come back. Thank you for the lovely stay and hospitality!

We had booked the apartment for 14 days.We think the price/performance ratio is very good. Rooms and breakfast were very good.The breakfast buffet was completely sufficient for us. It's nice to see that the well-measured amount of food means that less waste is produced than with the otherwise lavish buffets. This shows the owner's common sense. (Fat thumbs up)It would probably go beyond the scope of this article to report on other amenities in the house.If we go on vacation to Nordstrand next year, we would know exactly where we would book again. A cute little hotel. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was sufficient and fresh. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the construction site in front of the house. The street was completely renovated. We'll definitely come back. We wish the host all the best and stay healthy.

Small, fine guesthouse with bookable breakfast. Owner Mr. Erwens gives tips and advice on Hallig trips and much more. Rooms are nice, as are the bathroom and the small kitchenette. The outdoor area needs a bit of maintenance, but you can still enjoy peace and relaxation here. You are welcome to come back here.

We cannot recommend this accommodation for the following reasons:- the innkeeper is unfriendly and stingy, his tone towards guests is outrageous.- the equipment is extremely sparse, room service is not provided and our towels were only changed once within 5 days upon insistence.- the hotel is getting old and neither comfortable nor did we want to spend more time there than necessary.Of course you can't expect luxury for the price, but we don't have high expectations and a minimum standard was not met - a clear non-recommendation!

Price performance is good, the breakfast is sufficient, the rooms are completely sufficient for a week. Unfortunately the beds are quite shabby. The outside area is beautifully designed and quiet. Location was great for us, you can easily travel to the whole north.
