There is no elevator, which requires you to go up to the rooms through many steep, winding and narrow stairs. It is hot in the room and there is no air conditioning. In addition, there is a smell of mold. do not recommend

Refreshingly different/less complicated than a classic hotel. Small castle in private hands. Few rooms with a lot of charm and upscale furnishings at an affordable price (we are a family of 4). Personal care from the owner couple. Not so easy to find the first time because it's a bit outside the center. Attention: no catering except for breakfast (or for events by advance order). But if it is clearly communicated, there is no deduction.

When we arrived the hotel was locked and we had to ring the bell three times until someone finally opened the door. The young gentleman who opened the door for us was in trainer pants and adilettes. He didn't introduce himself and the entrance area was completely dark. After the third attempt he finally led us to the right room. From the first moment we felt uncomfortable and not welcome at all. After an hour we decided to leave this so-called hotel, which wasn't one. When we wanted to share this, we first had to look for the hostess. We found a gentleman in wool socks, no idea who he was. We overheard him telling our hostess this and were able to hear: then they should just go away!!!She didn't even bother to talk to us, which reaffirmed that we weren't welcome. At the end we were allowed to pay 230 for this experience.

Great location with very good reception. The owners are very nice, helpful and customer oriented. The large rooms are very well maintained, lovingly furnished, clean.The breakfast (on the terrace or internally) is also rich. Beautiful garden is available with sun loungers and tennis table. Lake Constance can be reached in just a few minutes by bike or on foot.

A fabulous night. So peaceful. We arrived at 6.00pm after a long journey. Made to feel very welcome by the owners. As it was Sunday the restaurant was closed but the owners very kindly drove us to a delightful restaurant by the lake. Good night sleep then breakfast on the terrace. Nothing was too much trouble 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you
