We were here from Sunday August 18 to Saturday August 25. The hotel has a beautiful location, close to the lake, shopping center and many nice restaurants. We received a warm welcome and were able to park the cars in the parking garage underneath the hotel. The hotel is dated, but we still had a nice stay. The friendly treatment of the two ladies was especially touching. We enjoyed that immensely. The breakfast was also very good, we ate at the table with damask tablecloths in a traditional German decor. We received tea and coffee presented in jugs, there was plenty of choice in toppings and fresh fruit. We were occasionally treated to something extra for breakfast, a gift from the chef.In short, a great hotel!!

Small hotel, very central. Train station, old town, Bodense can all be reached in a few minutes on foot.I would particularly like to mention the nice ladies at the breakfast service.My room could maybe use a bit of modernization!

Have the good ones been bought by recessions? The best thing is the location. The hotel and staff are very old. The staff was very rude and arrogant. We felt anything but welcome. In the morning someone from the staff suddenly appeared in the room without knocking. (09:30) The breakfast was ok but not worth the price. Like the room is not worth the price. The hotel looks comfortable from the outside, but inside the hotel it is the opposite. (Dark, cramped, old-fashioned, musty, with all the carpeting). I can confirm that the hotel (and bed) shakes when a truck drives past.

Stayed there for 2 nights and the owners are super nice and always helpful. The breakfast was very varied and you get what your heart desires. The hotel is older but it has a lot of charm. The only thing that bothered me a little was the mattress but that's everyone's own.

Very happy with my choice in staying here. The room is basic, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast had everything I hope for at a hotel: fresh bread, some cheese, smoked salmon, vegetables, and more. Much better than hotels in the US. This is my forth stay in Konstanz, each time at a different hotel, next visit I will simply return to this one.

I booked this hotel for a few days to visit a few cities in the Lake Constance region and do some hiking.The location is very good, the train station can be reached in a few minutes on foot.The hotel is not exactly state-of-the-art, but is functionally equipped.My room was of sufficient size (double for single use), but the bathroom was very small. After the shower I didn't even have enough space to dry myself...Overall, the room was quite clean, but I discovered one or two hairs on my bed that couldn't have come from me😶. The carpets also deserve a proper cleaning... you could write in the dust on the wardrobe, there are cobwebs here and there...The selection for breakfast was great - sausage, cheese, honey, jams, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, juices, rolls, bread... everything your heart could desire was there.The coffee was prepared in a machine upon request, I don't want to know how quickly everyone gets their coffee when there are ten guests there at the same time...Particularly noteworthy is the boss, who absolutely enriched the stay with her lovely manner.I booked the hotel via a booking portal and later asked a question by email, whereupon I only received an absence message, I never received an answer🤐

A small hotel, only a few rooms. Our room was relatively small and old-fashioned, but clean and with a very good layout, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was great, everything your heart could desire. Not just cheese and sausage, but also fish, quark, yoghurt, cakes, honey, jam, cereals, juices...The staff was very friendly, we felt comfortable.
