This evening we went to the “Wirtshaus zur Scheune” & yes, where do I start, what can I say… AWESOME!Great parking, great ambience and a cozy atmosphere ensured that we all felt at home very quickly, the menu was great! Not overloaded, short and sweet - this was reflected in the delicious and fresh food!The schnitzel, the bambes (baked dumplings), the white ones on the side, a poem!The taste is convincing across the board and the prices are absolutely great for such quality!The portions are very large, so everyone will be full, we promise!The inn offers great parking, accessibility, a playground within sight of the family, beautifully furnished interiors and very clean sanitary facilities.An absolute highlight are the alpacas, where the inn also offers great programs. If you are interested, please feel free to speak to the super friendly staff, we felt very comfortable with you!Top service, great food and the overall package simply has to be experienced by every Vogtlander or person traveling through.We'd love to come back! Preferably tomorrow ;)We wish the entire team and the Wirtshaus zur Scheune all the best & remain,With kind regards

On the way home from a hiking holiday in the Bavarian Forest to East Brandenburg, we had an appetite for Vogtland cuisine on Sundays, left the A72 and found "Zur Scheune" in Thiergarten! Although we were more than busy with a celebration, we were offered space, food and drink. The roulades were really tasty... We have been coming since 2017. We feel very comfortable there.Mandy and her family and team are very friendly and helpful. Every wish will be fulfilled.The rooms are great, the food is delicious and the area is beautiful. We are already looking forward to the next time.Thanks Mandy and greetings to everyone who knows us.

Dear “Zur Scheune” team, we were again very enthusiastic about your “burger meal” campaign. It was really tasty, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and a great team. We will definitely be there again next time and are already looking forward to it. But we definitely have to hurry up with the reservation because word gets around. Stay as you are - thank you for the lovely evening.

We were given a very friendly welcome as a motorcycle group who arrived spontaneously on Father's Day. At our request, the guesthouse operator set up a third bed in a room for us. Absolutely phenomenal: we were given the key to the guest house where the rooms are located so that we could still access it late in the evening. Another great thing: There is a guest kitchen in whose refrigerator there are always cool drinks, including beer. These are provided by the operator.Another absolute plus point: We booked without breakfast and, according to the operator's offer, we received a wonderful coffee setting for three with a whole pot of coffee and homemade coconut macaroons on the house. This service was worth a good tip for us.Everyone on staff seems to live on site, it all feels very family-like.There is a stable with alpacas in the garden behind the house. The garden is wonderfully maintained and beautifully landscaped. The whole house is very clean and modern.What we also really liked were the different colored towels in the bathroom; not the boring white hotel towels. This creates even more of a feeling of a family environment. In general, it is very quiet and peaceful in this suburb of Plauen.Plus point for bikers: motorcycle storage available.An absolute recommendation! We would love to come back.

We had a delicious meal today for Mother's Day with 5 adults and 2 children. During the short waiting time, the children were able to play in the very quiet garden or look at animals. The atmosphere was very warm and familiar. The food itself was highly praised by everyone. My wishes for gluten-free were also taken into account.Afterwards there was an alpaca hike with my mom. This was also beautiful. The small group of mothers, daughters and animals got along wonderfully and so we enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon in wonderful weather. Great photos were taken. At the end there was a drink and an alpaca soap and we ended the day with coffee and cake.We'll definitely be back 👍

We - a married couple, currently without children - have been to this guesthouse here in beautiful Vogtland many times. There is a warm and familiar atmosphere and we always feel very comfortable here. The breakfast is very tasty and regional, and the owners of the guesthouse are very friendly and lovely people 😊. A furry friend is also welcome to join us here 😍. We always enjoy coming back to my old home (wife 😇)...

We went here for lunch on Friday 24th and were pleasantly surprised. Small but nice.Great service and very good food.Absolutely recommended, especially for families with children.
