Very nice accommodation and compared to other accommodations in the area, the price-performance ratio is right.Please note the bumpy access to the property and the cash payment (rather unusual)We'd love to come back. 😊

The Kastanienhof is characterized not only by its quiet location in the middle of wonderful nature. The beautiful old building has also retained its loving charm through good care. Lots of wood, the pretty decoration and the stylish design with natural materials give the entire yard a natural character. This simply creates a great atmosphere and a good feeling of living. Mandy is also a reliable and friendly host. The well-being of her guests is very important to her. This accommodation is also highly recommended for solo travelers.

This was our second time here and certainly not the last time. I or we would also like to give 10 stars. Anyone who likes it cozy, close to nature and relaxed is in good hands here.Already in the courtyard, not even in the actual accommodation, you can feel that someone is caring for the well-being of their guests with a lot of love and taste.And my first impression shouldn't deceive me. The boss is very nice and considerate, the rooms and lounges are very comfortably furnished and the surroundings with lots of forest, horses and lots of peace simply invite you to come back.

We recommend! A great guesthouse, very idyllic location with nature on the doorstep, loving breakfast with attention to detail, this can also be seen in the entire decoration in the guesthouse!

Actually, everything has already been written here, but again by me for the sake of completeness. Very nicely located guesthouse or riding stable in a great, quiet location. Super nice owner. Great breakfast and lots of opportunities to experience something. The rooms are also great. And there is a fully equipped kitchen that lacks nothing. We would like to come again.

Very beautifully located property, in the middle of nature. The owners are very friendly, the landlady is courteous and attentive to the guests. The guesthouse is attractively furnished with an eye for detail. The breakfast was very appealing. We felt very comfortable.

Very nicely located accommodation with friendly hosts and the opportunity for children to ride a few laps on the pretty sandy course. Overall very suitable for children/families and the surroundings are really picturesque. It was also very pleasing that we were able to charge our electric car overnight using the outside socket (bring your own charging brick and cable drum!)A small deduction for the fact that the rooms and the dining room don't look as nice in reality as I had imagined based on the pictures, and ours wasn't completely clean (foreign hair and dust in the bathroom). Also something that took some getting used to (perhaps an unusual Thuringian peculiarity for me?) was the landlady, who was initially quite short and non-committal by phone and email. However, the personal contact was consistently friendly. It should also be noted that the access to the property (from the surrounding towns) leads over adventurous paths (not for the lowered Proleten-Golf! :-))None of these are dramatic flaws, but worth mentioning.All in all recommended!
