The Pension Sommer with the attached inn is 100% recommended. The operators and staff are very friendly. The cuisine is excellent. The rooms in the guesthouse are newly renovated and very well maintained. Price-performance ratio is great.We were absolutely thrilled and really enjoyed our time there.

The most important thing first: it couldn't be better!If, after a long day, you suddenly decide you want to stay in the region and search for a hotel on Google and see 4.8 stars, you are initially pleased, but at the same time skeptical - you have already experienced a lot.When you enter the Pension Sommer you know you've come to the right place! Everything seems to have been recently modernized, the rooms are great and high quality, as is the bathroom, sparkling clean, very nice!Bed great, not a saggy mattress but a really good bed.Food in the restaurant also leaves nothing to be desired, is very tasty and very cheap for our standards (just like the overnight stay WITH a great breakfast buffet).WiFi in the hotel is also TOP, 50MBit download, 40MBit upload, what more could you want!?This guesthouse is an ABSOLUTE recommendation, it couldn't be better.

Totally positive surprise! Booked an overnight stay at short notice and ate there in the evening.First of all, the room: booked a double room for single use. Price including breakfast EUR 66,--The impression after opening the room door was just wow. Renovated room. Super clean. Homely. Modern bathroom. Hairdryer etc. everything is there. Small drawback: carpet.The night there was very quiet. Didn't hear much from the roommates. The bed had a great firm mattress. Really everything is perfect. The breakfast buffet was also a positive surprise, for example with fresh pineapple.Then dinner. Rustic map, everyone can see it on the homepage plus a seasonal daily menu.A more than reasonable price-performance ratio. Nice service. The food was very tasty.If you think that we just happened by chance...

Quiet suburban location, three minutes by car to the town center of Waldsassen; very nice and well-kept guesthouse with modern guest rooms, everything was very tasty and really very cheap!! We would love to come back here

Anyone who knows this restaurant will go there often. Good food at a pleasant price is worth coming there again.A family business in the fifth or sixth generation. Very suitable for family celebrations. From hearsay, the rooms are very nice and the breakfast is great. There is also a winter garden and an outdoor area.The “service girls” are very attentive and friendly.All in all great!

Anyone who comes here will feel like they have arrived at home, everyone is friendly, nice and accommodating, the entire innkeeper's family and the staff are TOP.I've traveled a lot and experienced a lot, but I can say that these are the front runners. Come and experience it for yourself.

Beautiful inn in the small village of Kondrau near Waldsassen. Very friendly hosts, great breakfast, including fresh fruit. Very good cuisine in the evening. Ideal for cyclists.

Nice guesthouse on a side street. It is quiet. Parking spaces in front of the house. Very clean. Rich breakfast offering. Drinks machine in the house. Sleeping with the window open is possible. However, there is a cowshed nearby. Friendly staff.

Arrive and feel good. And not just once!You will receive a very friendly welcome in this quiet house. In the beer garden or in the restaurant you will receive comprehensive and friendly service. The food (the boss cooks here) is delicious, absolutely sufficient and still reasonably priced. The breakfast is out of this world. A four star hotel can learn a thing or two here. Lots of colorful, chopped fruit: pineapple, melon, oranges, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi and so on. Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers of any color. Bread, several types of rolls, eggs, coffee, tea...You don't want to stop anymore. Everything your heart desires is there.About the rooms: whether single or double, there is enough space. Have been guests several times in recent years; both for dinner, for a celebration and in the very well-kept guesthouse. A warm welcome every time, you immediately feel at home. Service is attentive, the food is appealing and tasty, and the breakfast for guesthouse guests leaves nothing to be desired. Rooms up to date and clean. Ideal location for us, quiet. Enjoyable as a family: in addition to our own playground, there is a great, newly designed playground nearby.

Hello Sommer family, thank you for the wonderful time from February 20, 2024 to February 23, 2024. My children's surprise only came about because they were so nice, that's not a given everywhere. Very nice modern rooms in a quiet location. Cozy restaurant with a large selection of very good quality German cuisine. Good and rich breakfast buffet. E-charging station available. Staff and owner very friendly. I really liked it, I'll definitely come back.
