If you are looking for a hotel with a view of the valley, mountains, peace and quiet and a starting point for hikes, this is the right place for you.We were lucky, after one night, we were able to move into the panoramic room with a large balcony.Fantastic, the view of the mountains and valleys when the fog rises in the morning. In the evening, with a cloudless sky, watch the stars from far away.Relax in the sun on the balcony in the afternoon.The food was a dream.We had half board and, after being able to choose early, we were looking forward to the delicious menu.The staff is top notch, whether reception, service, chef or room service.From the hotel you can walk straight to the small Arbersee and the glassmaking towns of Zwiesel and Bodenmais are nearby.The large Arberberg can even be reached on foot.A place to relax and unwind.

We would like to share our positive experience at the Berghotel Mooshütte. The location is simply fantastic and offers a breathtaking view. The peace and fresh air invite you to relax.Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the entire staff, who are always helpful and courteous. The food was excellent and special requests were easily fulfilled, which we really appreciated.The hotel is also ideal for dog owners as it is dog-friendly.The rooms are spacious and very clean, which makes the stay pleasant. Ideal for a stop after a hike. We didn't use the room, but the dining room was ok. The food too. The waitress was alone, certainly due to the lack of staff, but she was on her toes. The hotel is somewhat hidden and is at the beginning or end of many hiking routes, and is certainly attractive for winter sports enthusiasts. Parking spaces are also plentiful. In the afternoon we tried the entire menu, i.e. starter, main course and dessert. Everything tasted good. Summary, recommended.

You can walk from Kleiner Arbersee in 20 minutes. This also works with children. We only had lunch here at the inn, so I can't say anything about the rooms. The food was completely freshly prepared, the schnitzel was also freshly beaten and any extra requests were no problem. Absolutely recommended!

Top room, super newly renovated, super delicious food. With your dog you sit in a side room where the dogs are separated by departments. No problem for guests and dogs.

Wonderfully quiet location, you can go hiking directly from the hotel, beautiful rooms with a view, plenty of solid food, the owner and the entire service are warm and hospitable. Only the weather didn't cooperate, we hope for next time!

Quiet and relaxed location, lots of nature. Very friendly operator. Respond to wishes. Dogs are very welcome and are taken into account when selecting tables. Large selection at the breakfast buffet and half board can be booked daily upon request, even without prior booking. Vegetarian dishes are offered daily and vegan preparation is possible.

We had booked 5 days in the Hotel Mooshütte. It was very relaxing. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place! Many sights and hiking trails directly from the hotel. We felt very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was brilliant and the dinner was also very tasty

We were looking for peace and quiet - we found it! For a hotel in a secluded location, the Mooshütte is very well equipped, with modern yet loving furnishings.The breakfast was already great, but the four-course menu as part of the half board was the crowning glory. Absolute recommendation, and also easy to choose for guests who have only booked breakfast (for €19.50!).Hikes from the house or with short journeys are possible and varied, especially often on shady paths, very pleasant in summer.We felt very comfortable, and if the hard-working and nice owner family now manages to awaken the herb garden from its slumber and set up one or two benches on the extensive property to enjoy the great views of the Großer Arber and the Osser enjoy ...Keep it up and thank you to the entire Mooshütten team!Roberto and Kerstin from Guben

Idyllic, in a secluded location, very quiet hotel to completely unwind and relax. Service is excellent and super friendly. Food is close to top gastronomy. 100 points. Extremely quiet at night so you can sleep in and relax. Dogs are welcome and everyone is very well behaved. The cuties don't bother us while we're eating (they're worlds more pleasant to us than annoying kids running around)...I'm a grandma and not anti-children, but we need peace and quiet on vacation. And you can find that in this hotel. This is our second time here and we would love to come back. After all the stress, hecticness and noise in life, this is like wellness for the soul. Within 30 minutes. Everything you need for a vacation is here. Fantastic, idyllic, quiet, relaxing and beautiful. Kind regards to the Mosshütte team, keep it up. 😉👍👍👍

We were there with the whole family (10 adults, 2 children) for a week in July 2024. With the exception of one waiter, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a bit of everything and the dinner was very good and varied.There are many hiking opportunities in the area of various levels of difficulty. The hotel is ideal for relaxation due to its quiet location. The only thing we were missing was a small playground for the children. We will be back definitely.
