A family guesthouse, the owners are also cooks, waiters and excellently prepared for everything related to their obvious idea of life.!👍 They are always great, pleasant and the food is "best"😀

The friendly waitress and the cook were willing to help us, even though we were actually too late. We had a stiff Max for lunch. Delicious and not expensive.

Very nice ambience, very friendly, attentive service, daily special and tartare were super tasty, great value for money. Opening times 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Mon to Fri, Sat and Sun 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m

The price-performance ratio doesn't fit. 88€ for a double room without shower gel, without soap, without shower mat, without hairdryer, without making beds and cleaning is not even equivalent to a two star hotel. The shower and the whole house icl. Menu with the charm of the 60s could urgently need a refresh.

Unfortunately, this is no longer a restaurant, just a chip shop!Not even the schnitzel is homemade, sad..At least the staff is nice.

On the way to Domazlice we drove via Pleystein. We arrived after 9 a.m. in the morning. Walked into the Hotel Regina and looked around. A married couple was sitting at the table. There used to be a sumptuous breakfast buffet here. We asked the daughter of the house if she would prepare breakfast for us. Our wish was fulfilled. There were rolls from Bakery Nutritious Sausage Cheese etc. We talked about the good times. We have known Hotel Regina for 23 years. She said after Corona and the death of her father and mother it was difficult. We paid 20 euros for breakfast for two people. There's nothing you can say. And we drank coffee (2 pots). We used to love coming here - the food was always very good.I was there alone last Sunday - I had actually been looking forward to the sauerbraten all week. Well, it was probably nothing...I was intercepted right at the entrance asking if I had made a reservation, which I said no. This was met with a short/bossy "We don't have anything free!" answered. When I didn't immediately turn on my heel, I was given a look that probably meant something like "Don't you want to run away?" There was another “We don’t have anything free!”. I replied that I would just wait. “It could take an hour!” Then asked if it wouldn't be possible to sit at a table since I was alone. Answer: "No!"There were several empty seats at some tables and at least two tables were waiting to pay.It's been a long time since I've been treated so unkindly as a potential guest.Regina definitely won't see me/us again any time soon.At the latest when the guests become a nuisance in a restaurant, the zenith has been passed.

The Hotel Regina is very well located on the main street, opposite the church, the rooms are largely on a parallel side street, where the entrance to the rooms is also located. The hotel is getting a bit old, which is reflected in the rooms. The bathroom is quite small, equipped with a toilet, small shower and a small sink. The size of the rooms and the cleanliness leave nothing to be desired, but the size of the television (approx. 24 inches?) does.The breakfast offers almost everything you would expect in a hotel. The food overall is very good, plentiful and inexpensive. The hosts and staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Went there for lunch today, disaster.The food took forever to get from the time we ordered it, even though there wasn't much going on, they had forgotten my starter soup and wanted to serve it to me even though I had already had the main course. Unfortunately, when I cut my turkey cordon bleu, it was completely raw inside. After more than an hour I was no longer hungry and went home with an empty stomach.They don't see me anymore.

The accommodation is centrally located in Pleystein.As soon as we moved into our rooms, we noticed some unpleasant circumstances:* No accessibility* An unpleasant smell in the room that only went away after running the water in the sink and shower and ventilating it intensively* A mattress that is far too soft and saggy.After the night where I didn't sleep well because of it, I had pretty bad back pain.The breakfast, however, was quite decent and the service was courteous.WiFi is available free of charge in the restaurant area, but there was no reception in our room on the second floor.

I can't comment on the rooms. We have been eating there on Sundays for many years. Typical Bavarian cuisine. The waitresses are very friendly, the food comes quickly and is always delicious. The salad buffet has a large selection and everything is fresh. The prices are very good, cheap despite the crisis. At Christmas time we have goose breast - delicious!!Conclusion: highly recommended!!!

Needs some renovation after the old owners. Food is cheap but it's a matter of taste🥴 (e.g. sauces taste very inappropriate to the dish or just too sweet.And it would be better without a salad buffet! Doesn't fit in a location like this. Goodbye Bavarian tavern. Also unhygienic!! (and this is what it looked like) Reminds me a bit of old Czech restaurants or GDR🤔
