After 4 nights I have to honestly say, I'm happy to be going home again...Food quite good, but far too many people. Too few tables for far too many people. Maybe people also come from outside, I don't know, but nobody controls it.Breakfast is good, there are eggs and sausage and the third day Bockwurst or Wienerle. At lunchtime there is a small meal in between which is completely enough...coffee time is cake time, if you come at 3.40 p.m. you are faced with a miserable remainder. In the evening, as already mentioned, there is a good selection of 3 dishes that you can combine well. But the masses of people...Rooms fit, we had one over the entrance until 11 p.m. Hard to think about...early at 5:30 a.m. we heard the serving cart in the room...and were woken up by it. Otherwise the rooms were ok.The check in was ok. But we had to check ourselves in using the tablet at reception. It went quite quickly, but it was supposed to be disinfected after checking in, which unfortunately didn't happen. Good technology poorly implemented. The wellness area is quite good. But after the sauna I'm thirsty. Be sure to donate drinks or set them up like that.Dogs have no place in the restaurant or eating room. Controls would also fit well here. The seats in the entrance hall are covered in dog hair. Not so good for allergy sufferers. There is a lot of fun and games for childrenOtherwise a pretty good hotel.

I would prefer not to write a review - just so that you always get a room for the great price-performance ratio. Everything was just right, super nice rooms (five of us had a two-bed room and a three-bed room), delicious and varied food, nice swimming pool and sauna and - super nice staff. We'd love to come back! PS.: I don't know how you get the idea that you can't do anything in this area 🙈 Furth im Wald alone can be reached in 20 minutes and has a variety of things to offer for children, the Perlsee is within walking distance and has one super nice playground, the Czech Republic is not far away, etc.

No atmosphere for seniors! No shuttle to town, to train station, hotel is uphill outside of town! Only partial elevator, no luggage service. Entertainment very low. Seniors who travel by bus are not advantageous! Anyone traveling by car has an advantage as they can visit museums, etc. in the surrounding cities!

We've been here at the hotel twice and we love it. Perfect for a weekend :) our little one loves the indoor pool & play area. Once we had a comfort room and once we had an apartment. Would actually prefer the comfort selection as these are renovated. However, everything is really clean. We think the food is good, there is always plenty to choose from, we especially love the salad buffet and breakfast. Our third stay is coming up soon and we are really looking forward to it. The price-performance ratio is simply right here.

This is how a family hotel works, “also for parents”!We were a bit skeptical at first due to isolated reviews regarding food or rooms. That's why we are more than surprised about the absolutely great, always very friendly service and the food on offer. From the reception to the hotel management to the service staff, you could feel the joy in the work. I often travel to hotels for work and can say from experience that this hotel is very well positioned. The AI services are reasonably good and leave almost nothing to be desired. The room we booked wasn't the most modern, but it was still clean and functional. We also really liked the newly renovated, smaller indoor swimming pool including sauna in the house. This has Mon.-Sun. Open 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. Furthermore, daily entry to the large AquaFit indoor swimming pool is included in the price. This is only about 600m from the hotel. Now to the negative: my wife gained 1kg within 5 days...To the other restaurant complainers: you better watch how your children spread half their plate on the floor and teach them how to eat!Thank you and VG from Vogtland!

We spent our autumn holidays here and were very satisfied. The food was okay, it tasted good and was filled up quickly. Our room was very spacious and clean. Would come again at any time.

ROOM:We had the comfort apartment and were satisfied. It looked relatively new and was clean too. We loved the children's sink and a large balcony. It was also totally quiet, but it was further away and therefore always a short hike to the room.HOTEL:Hotel rather old-fashioned, partly renovated corners such as the drinks area. It smelled really musty in the hallways and always extremely like cigarette smoke. Even the reception staff just smoked out the window (in the office behind the reception)🤮👀 Let's find a NOGO! Otherwise we would say it was definitely clean and the staff were friendly. Check in and check out were uncomplicated. Parking in the carport costs €3 per day or you can park on the street if there is space available. The location wasn't that appealing for us either, as there isn't really much to offer in the surrounding area and activities that were interesting for us were ~1 hour away.FOOD & DRINK:It was good but definitely not a culinary highlight. We actually liked the cakes best. Breakfast has everything you need but no special extras. Lunch was also ok, two dishes and pasta on both days. For dinner there were 3 different dishes and a children's dish - as I said, it was good but didn't blow us away. We found it a shame that there was almost no fruit (except apples). Drinks station was also good, especially there was one for the kids. We found cocktails from the bar delicious.KIDS:We wouldn't call the playroom in the basement with no windows and a few relatively worn-out play equipment a children's paradise. There’s a small playground outside and that’s it. We didn't use the children's club and we didn't see the hotly advertised Wolfi either. There is also a baby room for changing etc - which we think is a really nice idea.POOL AREA:Very small area for a large hotel, in some cases guests couldn't find any space at all. We found the area quite good, but the water and the room were just uncomfortably cool. Even the water in the whirlpool wasn't warm. However, you get free entry to the Aquafit indoor pool and we would prefer that.We wouldn't come again, mainly because there isn't much on offer for children in and around the hotel. We stayed 2 nights and that was completely sufficient for us. But the price performance is basically right and you simply shouldn't compare the hotel with family hotels in the higher price range.

We've been there several times. The staff, from cleaning staff to service, were always very friendly. With the exception of the older receptionist, who during our last stay (October 2024) was no longer able to give us the room we had fixed because it was already occupied and we had to accept this. When my mother reported several times that her WiFi wasn't working, this lady approached her. And when we left after a 14-day stay, we were all (4 adults, 1 child) farewell with a brief bon voyage. No thanks, no further greetings, nothing. I think this is a shame because everyone else tries so hard and is absolutely great.Otherwise we are very satisfied, both with the food and the infrastructure. My mother also has difficulty walking. Since it is a family hotel, we do not expect the infrastructure to be adjusted. You can easily get to the lobby if you walk around the outside of the hotel. We would be happy to come back next year and look forward to everything working as planned.

A nice hotel with great value for money, very nice staff and delicious food - not star cuisine, but varied and great for us. The dance evening with the solo entertainer was also very nice. I had asked for a quiet room by email and the room was spacious and functional, but above the dining room, where the chairs start moving early and sleep ends early, that was very annoying and really disruptive on an otherwise nice vacation. Swimming pool, sauna and the bike paths were great, if you are mobile there are many options. The place itself is very quiet, there is nothing going on.

We were passing through on the motorbike and got a room in the late afternoon: €172 for a small room that was right at the front of the reception (there was already a hustle and bustle of cheering in the morning hours), the tiles were already peeling off The wall was loose, the bathroom was old-fashioned and breakfast was mass-produced. Probably many people are attracted by the “all inclusive” option, but it is not recommended for relaxation. Children are welcome, whatever you notice in the goings-on. In our case: PURE RIP-OFF!!!!
