This is our first time here and we were warmly welcomed. Very helpful.Dinner was delicious. I haven't eaten boiled beef like this in a long time. The offering is varied and very well prepared. We slept really well and everything was clean and furnished with a lot of love. The most special thing is the bidding types. There's no getting away from it and a gift is absolutely necessary. We wish the team all the best and say thank you.Monika Göllmitz and Hans Lüdtke

Good food, very child friendly. When there is a lot going on, you may need to draw attention to yourself and make sure that everything works.

Sometimes it's the coincidences in life that give you unexpected access to something very special. Yesterday such a coincidence led me to Sulzbach and to the Sperber Bräu inn. Here I was welcomed with open friendliness and the smell of freshly tapped beer and hearty cuisine - a place that celebrates down-to-earthness without losing any of its sophistication or even coziness.I was advised to try one of the house classics, a “Schäuferl”. A composition that appears simple and yet has high standards. The roast, tender, streaky and with an incredible crust, dissolved on the tongue with a faint hint of smoke and spice - a triumph of down-to-earthness. The sauce, a delicately sour reduction, offered the meat and dumplings the perfect stage on which they could shine in all their glory. The house beer, full-bodied and with a touch of malt sweetness, rounded off the experience as if it had been created for this very moment.A sip of it made time stand still for a moment, and you quickly realized: This is not a drink, but craftsmanship in its most beautiful form. However, the true essence of Sperber Bräu cannot be found in a single dish or a mug of beer. It is the dedication that can be felt in every detail - the care with which the dishes are prepared, the love of craftsmanship that permeates the house and the genuine kindness that I received from all the staff. Here, hospitality is not just promised, but lived. In short: a truly lasting experience that I hope to be able to return to at some point.

We stayed for one night, in a standard double room. Importantly, the room was clean and comfortably furnished. In the evening we ate at the inn, the food was delicious and the service was friendly.Certainly there is always something that can be improved, so we waited longer for a salad as a main course than for a warm meal. The breakfast was good and well stocked.Overall, a detour to Sulzbach Rosenheim and the Sperber brewery is worth it.

We were guests in your hotel and inn from October 4th/5th and it was a wonderful stay. Our room was completely convincing, we were positively surprised. And in the evening in the restaurant we received friendly and courteous service. The food was exactly as expected…All in all, it was perfect. This hotel is a pearl in the Upper Palatinate.
