Quaint inn and very tasty food. Beautifully renovated, a great place

Had dinner with my parents at the Halli Galli inn today. We had 3 x Viennese style schnitzel, 1 x mushroom sauce, 2 x large drinks and 1x small drink.About my review:- I can't say anything about the rooms, so you can't give them 1 star.- The service is good average. The young lady was friendly and helpful. It seemed to me like she had just begun. When ordering she seemed a bit absent (-1 *) and she didn't pass on an extra request for very thinly pounded schnitzel. (-1 *) The service is therefore 3/5.- Regarding the location, the inn is rather remote and the entrance seems rather inconspicuous, which I don't like (-1 *) and the ambience inside is all in one style, but I'm missing that certain something, for example a nice table decoration, but everyone has it a different taste (-1 *). Here it is 3/5, everything is acceptable.- Now about food. A positive thing to mention is that there is a free choice of salad, which is worth 1* for me. Everything else wasn't good. The fries had a strange aftertaste in my opinion. The schnitzel was tough, had cartilage in some places and was not very seasoned, which is again a matter of taste. The breading was uneven and came off completely from the schnitzel and the schnitzel was also beaten unevenly, which meant that it wasn't cooked well in places and was mostly tough. My schnitzel was no different than my parents', although I expressed the wish that my schnitzel should be pounded very thin. The sauce was good, but the price at €6.50 is way too expensive for 3 people, but way too much for 1 person. Unfortunately there is no smaller quantity, which I also find wasted. The waiting time for the food, less than 5 minutes, was suspiciously short. Maybe the schnitzels were already prepared, which is why the extra request was not taken into account. There were no guests there apart from my parents and me. I also think the price of the schnitzel is very high at €14.90. For this price I expect better quality, that's why I mention these points too. I've been there before with my parents. I think I remember the price was €7.90 or €8.90, but there were no complaints about these points. In my opinion it was one of the best schnitzels at the time. That's why there is 1/5 for the salad selection.

Friendly service and reasonable prices characterize this restaurant. Home-style cuisine that is worth seeing and tasting.In recent years, the owner has constantly remodeled and expanded, especially in the outdoor area, resulting in a beautiful beer garden. Definitely worth a visit.
