We have been visiting the German House in Vesser for over 30 years. Often with the whole family. Highly recommended German cuisine. The Fischer family puts a lot of effort into it.

Accidental discovery turns out to be a stroke of luckWhile looking for accommodation for a four-day short vacation, we came across the “Deutsches Haus” inn in Vesser (owner Katrin Fischer). We were immediately impressed by the warmth, friendliness and hospitality with which we were welcomed here, which created a very familiar atmosphere. There was also excellent food. The accommodation is impeccable. The inn therefore fits in perfectly with the wonderful landscape with well-developed and clearly signposted hiking trails, in which you can only feel good.Conclusion: A holiday in Vessertal and especially in the “Deutsches Haus” is simply recommended. Delicious food, great ambience, beautiful area. We always stop by when we are in the area and are happy to see Ms. Fischer. The Thuringian food on offer is very tasty. At the beginning there is the wonderful small salad, later roast venison or goulash with dumplings and at the end homemade cake - a dream! And all of this at extremely fair prices! Every visit is a highlight. We hope that the German house will be preserved for a long time. See you next time!
