Nice hotel with good location for all activities. A nice place for children.Everything was nice and clean and well furnished.Gladly again !

There's nothing else to say except that we booked again for Christmas. Can there be anything more beautiful?In any case, we really liked it. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.

We had a comfort double room and were actually satisfied, except for the very stained carpet, no improvement despite changing rooms. The beds are also suitable for tall guests. The view of the mountains is great. The complex is very spacious and has no elevator. The breakfast is great. The service is very good and we would come back.

Great hotel with a very courteous service!Restaurant is first class. All round successful holiday again and again. Absolute risk of repetition :-)We can only recommend the Dorint Resort without reservation. There is also a lot for children nearby or on site.(Pool, playground, go-kart track right next door, etc.)

A fantastic hotel!We were extremely satisfied with the service, the staff and the rooms –The only thing that wasn't so great is that there is no luggage cart and no elevator, and you sometimes have to drag your suitcases and luggage to your accommodation yourself, long paths and a number of stairs.

Very friendly staff, great rooms and the chef and his team can do something (!). Dinner half board was a highlight. If you can say, OK, that was really as good as 4 stars in Austria, where the dessert even topped everything at the end, that's a very good thing.Why not 5 stars? The two saunas are not enough for a sports hotel for me, as is the small number of resting places. This would bother me a bit in Winterberg, especially in winter.Since we were hiking, just a side note.

We stayed here with our children and grandchildren, 8 people. 5 children, spent a weekend. The rooms were right next to each other, with a nice view.An extra table was reserved for us in the tower room so the whole family could have breakfast together. It wasn't a problem to sit with the latecomers if you had already had breakfast. The service was super friendly and nothing was missing. Fried eggs and cocoa with cream for the children were freshly made upon request.We stayed another day and then had dinner in the restaurant. Price and service are also top here.The rooms were large and well-equipped and clean. If you skipped cleaning, you got a drinks voucher that you could redeem at the bar or restaurant.Next door is the go-kart track, where a round with the Sauerland Tickt is included for free.The only shame was that the playroom is no longer there. Parking costs extra, and there are some charging stations in the underground car park.We had a great weekend, thank you very much.

We were here out of season, really relaxing and pleasant. The hotel is very classy and high quality, the rooms are very modern, very well maintained and clean. The staff is very very friendly and helpful, we had a small car breakdown and they helped us a lot. The breakfast was very extensive, fresh and all needs were catered for. We had already noted online in advance that we would request a vegan breakfast, and it was fulfilled without any problems and we were surprised and spoiled with new delicacies every day. Special requests were gladly accepted and fulfilled. The staff is very well-coordinated and customer-oriented; here you can feel the passion and harmony between the colleagues. We had dinner at the hotel twice, where we were really surprised with exquisite food, everything very classy with luxurious charm. We really enjoyed it there and we can highly recommend the restaurant. There is no need for reservations during the week, provided you don't come with 8 people.Otherwise, the hotel and the surrounding area offer a wide range of activities, relaxation and sights. We can highly recommend it and would love to come back.

Basically, the location and facilities really appealed to us - but they didn't live up to their promise of quality.1. Swimming and wellness area:At check-in we were informed that towels and bathrobes would be in the swimming and wellness area. Unfortunately this was not the case, there were no towels and/or bathrobes in either the swimming area or the sauna/wellness area. We then got towels from our room and at the same time informed the reception by telephone. The lady on the phone assured us that towels and bathrobes would be provided immediately. Unfortunately, after 90 minutes (!!!) neither towels nor bathrobes were refilled.The whirlpool, which is actively advertised as part of the wellness area, was broken throughout the entire stay. Other guests told us that this situation had existed for at least a week.2. Booked half board on August 6th, 2024Unfortunately, despite booking, this was not available on the day of arrival. Basically, you informed us in advance by email, but you billed for the service and only reimbursed it when we asked. We lack understanding here - why do you sell a service that you cannot provide and only refund after active demand, when we already pointed out at check-in that the Vesper alternative (which, by the way, does not have the same price-performance ratio as half-board -Dinner is available) not to be used. Furthermore, the half board offered when making the reservation was the decisive booking criterion for us when choosing a hotel in the Sauerland.3. Breakfast on August 7th, 2024From 9:00 a.m. there were no more rolls. Sausages, meatballs and cold cuts were also completely sold out as of 9:15 a.m. When we asked, we were told that we had overscheduled. Mistakes can happen, but such serious mistakes are difficult to understand for a four-star hotel. We informed the reception staff about the problem - as a gesture of goodwill, a daily allowance for our dog was reimbursed, but we do not consider this to be sufficient or acceptable.4. Dinner on August 7th, 2024The selection of meals as part of the half board was good. Unfortunately, we only received our drinks (1x bottle of mineral water, 2 glasses of red wine and 1x iced tea) when we had already finished the main course! When we asked the service employee, he snapped at us almost aggressively with the statement “I'm alone with a new colleague...then you'll have to go eat somewhere else if you don't like it here”. This reaction was unacceptable and disrespectful - here too we question the standard of a four star hotel.All in all, this stay was an expensive disappointment - the four-star standards were sometimes far below the expected standard.Unfortunately, the hotel did not respond to our written feedback.
