Fantastic holiday home just outside Winterberg. From the house you can walk straight to the Kahler Asten and many hiking trails in the area.

Very beautifully located holiday home with an excellent feel-good atmosphere. The facilities include a fitted kitchen, fireplace and a separate toilet. Hiking trails are right outside the door and it is just a stone's throw to Kahler Asten.

In a word, fantastic!We were the first guests at Asten Lodge and we loved it. What an absolute top spot and what a super beautiful house. We felt at home from the moment we entered. Our children were also very happy with the house, the forest garden and the surrounding meadows where they could run around and play to their hearts' content.Everything we needed was there, it is a very complete house. And everything that was missing, a stair gate for our sleepwalking daughter, was installed immediately the next day! What a service! The beds are very comfortable.As I said, the location is more than great. You are close to Winterberg but far from the crowds. You feel almost alone and in the middle of nature. It's only about a 15-minute walk to the top of the Kahler Asten. The house is located on the famous Rothaarsteig, a paradise for hikers.The bakery in Neuastenberg is a 10-minute walk away, so we always started our days with delicious fresh sandwiches.We found the contact with Gerlinde and Reinhold to be very pleasant and friendly. There were quick answers to our questions and the personal welcome, because we were the first guests, was nice.We undoubtedly recommend the Asten Lodge to anyone looking for nice accommodation in the Hochsauerland! We will come back in any case!

The stay at the Asten Lodge was really nice! The house, the furnishings and the surroundings, everything is fantastic. The hosts were very friendly and the accommodation was very clean and well maintained. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
