Last long weekend we ended up at the campsite in Schortens by chance. We were very very surprised. The small, cozy place with a swimming lake was very well maintained and beautifully laid out. The staff were extremely friendly and you immediately felt at home. We will definitely come back and take a look at the other associated places.

Small, cozy and family campsite in the middle of the countryside on a small swimming lake.The square, lake and washhouse are very well maintained, the parking spaces are sufficiently large and the operators are incredibly nice. There is a bread roll service and fresh/waste water directly at the pitch.The restaurant on site is also great.Unfortunately there is no kiosk or anything similar, but shopping opportunities in Schortens or Jewer are not far away.Anyone looking for peace and relaxation is in good hands at this place.We are currently here for the third time and it definitely won't be the last time (at least from our perspective).

We spent a very great week there. Super friendly and uncomplicated registration, nice large pazelle, sanitary facilities close and well maintained, super dog friendly and generally very well maintained camping site.We felt very comfortable, perfect for a break from everyday life.We are happy to recommend the campsite and will definitely come back.

You immediately feel welcome, whether as a large motorhome, van, tent trailer, tent or camping car. And if you're stuck in a traffic jam and arrive late, you'll get cheerful instructions on your cell phone. Class. Relaxed campers, relaxed place with a beautiful lake and a great view. Super cozy minitiny houses right on the lake. Very romantic. We'll definitely come back again. Thank you especially for your great support and helpfulness when our towing vehicle broke down. That was great.

Nice little camping site with lots of greenery and a great swimming lake that can be used free of charge. The latter with great clean water, a beautiful sandy beach, well-kept sanitary facilities, a nice kiosk/beach restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area around it. Unfortunately, the restaurant at the lake is very rarely open. Therefore 1 star deducted.

Very nice campsite by the lake, cozy and very clean and well maintained. Dogs have the opportunity to go for a run around the lake or outside directly in front of the site. Dogs are not allowed to swim in the water. You can reach Jever in 10 minutes by bike. We liked it

We chose the wrong date when booking, so we found ourselves standing in front of Camping Friesland on a Sunday without a place to sleep.But the manager of the campsite came by on his Sunday off to offer us somewhere to stay overnight, even though the reception was closed. That's what I really call excellent service! We are very grateful for his helpfulness and kindness. The campsite itself is also very nice and well located. We can only recommend him!"We found the service facilities to be well maintained and tidy.Thank you again!

Hello, unfortunately I was rather disappointed with the cleanliness, the shower toilet was new but the toilet brush and the brush stand were totally dirty. A new brush costs €1 in a discount store and can easily be replaced! The camper will definitely be happy to use it too.Unfortunately, many large dogs are poorly kept under control by their owners. Dogs also like to have fun in the swimming lake. Aren't our children much more important?The rear access to the sanitary facilities was completely dirty and just a trail through the mud. As a result, the floor in the plumbing is completely dirty, especially in rainy weather. The chemical toilet disposal chamber is unfortunately also dirty, the ceramics are heavily sprinkled and not maintained. Unfortunately, many people then behave badly.The good location and the swimming lake, friendly team of helpers and employees are positive.By the way, if you look at the plan on the Internet, no direction is indicated, so we had a view of the lake but full shade (comfort spot) and when it rains it's a total mess, water doesn't run off, the supports of the caravan are submerged 5cm in the swamp after a heavy rain shower. So you have to do something and camp on your own site.

The ladies showers are old and not cleaned properly. There was hair hanging on the wall on Monday and it still hadn't been removed on Saturday. I know cleanliness differently. Something urgently needs to happen here.

Really a nice camping site, nice on the lake with a restaurant that was closed but the 5 euros a day for electricity and 5 euros for a small dog is very exaggerated but on the whole everything was ok.

Very nice small campsite right on the lake with swimming options. Nice funny operators. We felt very comfortable. There is a 1 point deduction for the somewhat negligent cleaning service, which could be improved

Beautiful campsite...the size of the pitches is completely sufficient, very clean and a dream for children! Offers everything..Super nice staff..Great view of the water..Dog friendly..Our welcome was very warm and fun! Top place! We'll definitely be back!! Highly recommended

A great campsite. Very nice area with great bike routes. The places are very spacious. There is a point deduction for the women's sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, the showers are completely moldy. This could certainly be remedied with the right cleaning products. Very nice and helpful operators/employees. We'll definitely come back again.
