A hotel run by a Dutch couple who managed to touch us. Welcome as friends from the first contact. Neat, clean room with balcony. Fine. Dinner at 8 p.m. was no problem. We were able to store our motorcycles safely. Spacious closets for our clothes.Breakfast was well organized. The personality of the host and hostess created a pleasant atmosphere between the guests.Good hotel, great price, good restaurant.We immediately felt at home, thank you and see you next time.

You really feel at home. The hosts are always very friendly and try to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel is a bit old BUT everything is clean. The breakfast was rich and delicious. Everyone should find something here. The daily specials in the evening were also super tasty. Someone was having fun cooking and you could definitely taste it. The portions could be a little larger but this is only marginal. We deliberately chose a cheap hotel because we were going motorcycling in Sauerland for the weekend. It was an absolute stroke of luck. We will be back definitely.Met vriendelijke groeten uit Oost-Friesland.

Booked 2nd time at Soraya en den Dré, made a mistake when booking 2 people instead of 3. This was of course no problem at all, as expected because these people do everything they can to make you happy! Everything was tip top again, rooms clean, bathroom clean. Breakfast provided with everything and if something runs out they immediately refill it. Look no further because these people are doing an excellent job! Hats off😉

We had fantastic days at Berghaus Winterberg! Soraya and André do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A really warm bath that you end up in. Berghaus Winterberg is also highly recommended with children! Nothing is too crazy and everything is possible and allowed. Thank you very much, we will definitely come back! Not received so hospitably in a while. Upon arrival we were cheerfully welcomed at the cozy Berghaus. We were immediately provided with food and drinks. We could also contact the owners with all our questions about outings. Very enthusiastic owners who show a lot of interest in the guests. We had a successful weekend!

Great, typical German Hotel from 2 NL operators who really do everything they can (and more) to ensure that their guests enjoy maximum hospitality. Rooms top, bathroom ditto and everything super clean. Breakfast excellent and dinner according to the daily menu very good, no culinary situations but just top fresh food. (Sunday/Monday/Thurs no dinner). Good location with a view of the mountains. Sufficient parking spaces. Beautiful surroundings and plenty to see and do for adults and children in the immediate area, even in bad weather. André and Soraya thank you again for the wonderful days with you.

From the first minute we checked in, we felt at home, super nice hosts, first of all a huge thank you 😘👍 our dogs were welcomed with heart, that's not a given and we would like to thank you very much for that. This was our first stay and won't be the last. Great ambience, the sauna, the area, the room, the breakfast, the dinner, the cleanliness, everything was great, everything was great, we'll be back, that's a promise 😉 thanks for the great time.

Spent a midweek with André and Soraya with my wife.We stayed in the small double room with balcony. The room was comfortable and clean, the beds were nice and firm and the bathroom was not large but met our wishes/expectations.Breakfast was extensive and there was enough of everything to start the day well.We had dinner twice and there was nothing to complain about, it was delicious both times!André and Soraya are extremely hospitable and super fun, we will definitely go back!The area has plenty to offer, we were there in the fall and had a wonderful walk!

Very warm and hospitable reception. Good food and nice clean rooms with nice views.I had a motorcycle weekend in Winterberg with my son and we enjoyed it very much. Motorcycles were stored safely and dry in the garage.

This is how vacation should be. From the first moment you feel welcome. Rooms great, ambience great, your holiday begins here right from the start. Dog-friendly, just as you would like it to be for ALL sides: (dog owners or not.)We went there in late summer for a multi-day hike from place to place (Rotharsteig) and it was definitely the best accommodation of all.

We spent our honeymoon getaway with our dog in Winterberg. The Berghaus Winterberg was our accommodation and we are still thrilled. It is beautifully rustic and comfortably furnished and every now and then you can see the Dutch charm. The two owners are very friendly, accommodating, helpful, love animals and always look after the well-being of their guests. From our room we also had a great view of the back garden and the surrounding forest. The food is pretty good and tasty and the breakfast buffet also has everything your heart desires. We and especially our dog particularly liked the quiet location and the good connection to hiking trails and forests and we were able to recover and relax there from the stress and everyday life. We felt very comfortable in the Berghaus Winterberg and in Winterberg in general and will go on vacation there again, except that our son will no longer enjoy the time in mom's tummy, but will then be out in the world and can experience everything himself.

Hotel Berghaus Winterberg is highly recommended. Been for the 3rd time now. And had another successful weekend. Super hospitable owners, and a delicious breakfast. Been twice in the winter, which is highly recommended, super good location and cozy/beautiful surroundings. But this time in the summer. How beautiful it is in Neuastenberg/Winterberg. Numerous activities and you can take beautiful walks. The owners can give you a lot of tips, which is very nice. Thank you Soraya & Andre for the hospitality. We will definitely come back again!!
