Dorint Pallas Wiesbaden

Good hotel with a nice spa area and modern fitness room. The breakfast was very good!

We were only there overnight, but everything was ok.

Located within walking distance of the center. Typical business hotel. Rooms functional, old-fashioned furnishings. Good breakfast (the first time “half” croissants were offered - see photo 😅).

The hotel is very conveniently located between the main train station and the city center. You can get everywhere on foot. In the evening, the bar invites you to have a nightcap. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. My room was wonderfully quiet.

I stayed at the hotel from Thursday to Monday and was very satisfied. The room was a nice size, with a large bathroom and also had built-in air conditioning, WiFi, a small coffee maker and a fridge with a minibar.The hallways are carpeted and unfortunately very dirty with a lot of stains (2nd floor) that probably won't come out.The breakfast was also nice, towards the end you couldn't get everything, but that makes sense so that you don't have to throw away a lot of food unnecessarily.Unfortunately there were massive problems when checking out. I had a large suitcase with me and still had several drinks in the room, some of which were full or completely full, in a large green bag, my food from the night before in the fridge and a wig on a wig head on a cupboard. I wanted to take these with me later and then check them out for my girlfriend and I together. So we left the room with our large suitcases, put the “do not disturb” sign on the door and set off. I loaded my suitcase into the car and accompanied my girlfriend to the train station and went to the Asian store there just to get some snacks. I had food and drinks in the hotel room for home or travel.I then came back to the hotel around 11:45 and wanted to take the rest of my things with me and check out. When I got to the room, room service was probably already there, tidying the room and taking my things. There was nothing left.I went down to reception and said that I wanted to check out but my things in the room were gone. I was then also asked if this was really my room, which I personally thought was a (sorry for the expression) stupid question. I spent the weekend there and came in with my room card.Even if I hadn't already packed the things. I then said the same thing I described here and according to the computer, we hadn't checked out yet when I went to reception. After several conversations and several employees looking for my things, a gentleman came and was at least able to give me the wig.However, my food with the big bag was still gone. When I said again that I would like to have these things back, someone came with a trash bag and the big green bag where the trash from the room had been thrown in, along with food from the fridge and a few sweets that I still had wanted to take with me. The food from the fridge was packed, but I didn't want to eat it anymore and didn't want to take the bag with me either.After that nothing happened at all. After a while I asked if I could take something from the hotel kiosk and the lady said that I was welcome to buy something there. But I said that I didn't see that and would like at least a little compensation. I then had a small cola and two chocolate bars and left. The food and drinks that were thrown away were probably worth €20. That may not be much, but it can't be that the room is cleaned and my things are stolen when we haven't checked out yet.There was also no compensation other than the coke and chocolate bars that I had requested. I think after I was shown the trash they tried to ignore me and waited for me to leave. There was no initiative from the hotel itself.I also had to pay parking fees again because I parked nearby and thought I would be out by 12:15. I probably left more than an hour later.It can't be that just because we left the room with 2 large suitcases, the room is cleaned before check out and my things are stolen. You could have waited until 12, if I hadn't been back then I would have understood...

We received a friendly welcome and were given an upgrade. We were happy. We'd love to come back

I was accommodated by Connichi as a helper last year and this year and am completely thrilled.The breakfast is always plentiful, clean and super tasty! Everyone can really find something there.Room was great, always fresh towels and everything cleaned EVERY day, if you don't have room cleaning you get a voucher for the bar. Simply great, encourages you to protect the environment :)The staff at the hotel itself was great, very nice and friendly and always helpful! No matter what time or what problem they were there immediately.The bar was my absolute highlight, it comes alive thanks to the staff who always work professionally and friendly and made us more than welcome. I'm more than thrilled.All in all a great hotel which is definitely recommended and will hopefully be visited again next year.

Shower and bath actually had to be. Showering in a bath is life-threatening for older people.

My family and I are in Wiesbaden on military orders and stayed at the Dorint for 60 days, while we looked for permanent housing. The Dorint Palas Hotel offers an excellent experience with outstanding staff, comfortable accommodations, a luxurious spa, and a delicious breakfast buffet. However, the TVs in the rooms are not modern and lack the ability to cast from iPhones, which can be a drawback for tech-savvy guests. Overall, a great stay with minor room for improvement in technology.

The booking for the room at Dorint Pallas was confirmed. So everything should be ok. be, you think. But when we checked in, we had a rude awakening: no room was available despite booking. A hotel of this category cannot afford that and it is not how they treat guests. This is unacceptable. After all - and that's the least of it - we were rebooked into another hotel at no cost. However, this is a very bad experience and I will definitely never book this again.
