We regularly buy our meat at the butcher shop........we just ate the pumpkin bratwurst.Oh my god, soooo delicious!I'm annoyed that I only took two to try.Great idea, compliments to the butcher!

Excellent place to buy bio products direct from farmers, bread , cakes , milk products and fresh meat and sausages, also a good restaurant with tasty local food and wine.

The Mechtildshausen domain is a wonderful place for everyone who values fresh, regional and sustainable products. The organic farm offers an impressive selection of food produced directly on site - from fresh fruit and vegetables to high-quality meat and cheese. The ambience is idyllic and invites you to linger. A visit to the farm shop, which is always well stocked, is particularly recommended. The on-site café also impresses with delicious, homemade food. A visit to the domain is not only a culinary delight, but also a short excursion into the countryside that is worth it!

Don't know why my review is being deleted? I definitely didn't think of something like that...We always enjoyed being with you, but what we experienced today is really not possible: an employee (veterinarian?) was probably not able to treat a cow and out of sheer anger he hit the cow with all his strength and kicked it . The cow screamed in pain. We have never experienced anything like this before and my little child was also very disturbed. Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore. It's sad how the animals are treated. We always thought that the animals had a great place there. Very unfortunate...The whole thing happened on Saturday, July 10th. around 3 p.m. opposite the stable where the calves are.

We were there for the first time today. Unfortunately, we imagined more for the children. For example, a larger playground, perhaps with water features or something similar.The service in the restaurant is the last straw. The food was okay, but three of the waiters are bad-tempered, unhelpful and quite unfriendly. Unfortunately, this is unacceptable for someone who comes from the service themselves.All in all, two stars because the support service was nice and the children were able to look at the animals.

Were there with my niece, she loves animals, and you get to see some of them...Starting with rabbits, horses, goats, donkeys and even cows...The little one had the time of her life and it was also very nice for us adults...Afterwards we ate and drank something in the café...The offer is varied and extremely tasty...The staff is very friendly and helpful...We'd love to come back...

I received a guided tour for my birthday. Great. If you definitely take part, you will find out a lot about the work that is being done there.At the end of the tour, the person in charge, Mr. Matthes, also came and gave insights and patiently answered every question. Super friendly and very personable. I can absolutely recommend it.Unfortunately there was no more space in the farm kitchen, so we went to the cafe. Very, very friendly and the cakes are a dream. I had a nut cake that was great.But you should know that you should make reservations for the restaurant and ideally also for the café, as places are limited.Of course we shopped and all the young people tried very hard and I can only say that I hope that the city of Wiesbaden doesn't ruin this project. Something like this is rare and should be preserved!We'll definitely be back!

We always shop here when we are nearby. A large property (gut), with bakery and cheese, butcher's shop, restaurant, farm shop (fruit, vegetables, regional products, the whole range of organic products). Very good organic goods, very beautiful facility always worth a visit, it's a particularly nice place to stay here in summer. I don't know the hotel. But I can't imagine there's anything wrong with that.
