We booked a holiday apartment on the farm months ago. Huge anticipation, everything relevant (payment, arrival, etc.) was clarified in advance by email. After a 5-hour drive we arrived in the best sunshine. The farm is a bit out of the way, but very beautiful and green. After some searching, we found the owner/landlady. She told us that her holiday apartments were all rented out and that she had nothing free at all, when she was told that they had booked months ago and that they had reassured themselves again 14 days before arrival that everything would work, the only answer was that that it was booked twice. She tried to find other accommodation and called around the area, but of course there was nothing available, summer vacation. After more than an hour, a hotel was found that still had a room. The child was very disappointed that the hoped-for farm holiday with all the animals fell through. And our week of summer vacation on the North Sea was suddenly three times as expensive as originally planned because of the hotel, a lot of money for a small family. After all, €300 of the additional costs were borne by the landlady. We will not book a holiday apartment on this farm again.

Forgot your booking?We would have loved to spend our vacation here, unfortunately we were informed two weeks before arrival that our booking, which had been confirmed by email, had been forgotten and the apartment had already been taken during this period!I can now explain this to my two children who were really looking forward to it. Not to mention our stress about finding new accommodation.As I said, it should start in less than 14 days.We are very disappointed!

Went there spontaneously for two nights. Very nice hosts, great value for money and a nice, clean apartment (Inge ground floor). Plus a top location not far from Schillig and Horumersiel. Hooksiel and Carolinensiel are not far either.We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here for 14 days in August 2021.Very nice, quiet yard with plenty of space for children to play.Cozy holiday apartment with a large garden.Nice landlords.From there you can go on excursions, walks and bike rides in all directions.Gladly again!

We were very disappointed. It is not possible to help on the farm and you can only view the animals from the grid. The playground cannot be rated as a playground. At first we thought it was a place for broken playground equipment but it was actually the playground. No lawn, junk everywhere and everything old. Since there were wires hanging out everywhere at the gate and everything was rusty, you had to be very careful and you couldn't even let the child go ahead.The houses each consist of 3 apartments. It was clean. BUTWe had a small bathroom where only one person could fit in and we heard every word and every cry of children. Very unfortunate. We don't understand the reviews.

Very cozy, a real farm where you can still see animals that are not in kennels.The accommodations are very clean and well-kept, really for people who don't like the hustle and bustle of tourist centers.The landlords, the Brandenburg family are people you can talk to and have fun with.We'll definitely go there again.

The apartment was great, clean and we had everything we needed. The yard is really nice too. Poldi the pig was the highlight for our son. The farm is conveniently located. 10 minutes by car to the beach and only 10 minutes to the nearest shop. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will definitely find it here. There is also a morning bread roll service. The landlords are great. Very nice people. The price-performance ratio is great. We'll be back!

Ended up here through friends. Rena and her husband Uli are great people. We try to vacation here two or three times again.Can only recommend it for families with children. The apartments are great and you look out the window and you see meadow.You both are awesome:):)
