Beware of rip-offs! It is a lost place where rooms are rented out!When we arrived at the check-in time agreed upon through Booking, all doors were locked and NO ONE was there! Neither anyone at the reception nor any guests!There were two numbers posted that you had to call, and a man answered with broken German. After two phone calls and more than half an hour of waiting in front of closed doors, the good gentleman came and unlocked the "entrance area" (which was also used by a snack bar). When we entered there was a smell of sewage and we were told that the restaurant was closed and that breakfast would only be available at a fixed time. We then got our money back with a lot of emphasis and a request via Booking for a free cancellation.IMPORTANT: in the original contract for booking with advance payment, you cannot cancel free of charge without getting the money you have already paid back!

Had an absolutely unfriendly phone call with a gentleman on the phone.Doesn't introduce himself or show any kind of empathy.He started making accusations even though we didn't even know each other.impudence.

We were invited to a private event with around 60 people on Saturday evening.It was easy to park right next door and the space was good and spacious so you could eat comfortably, then dance and walk around.The food was solidly meat-heavy and tasty. The service was attentive and courteous, at times one person took care of everything alone towards the evening, so there were sometimes waiting times at the counter that went beyond just pouring a beer.Recommended for events like this. As a restaurant I imagine it to be more home-style and I might not necessarily visit. 4 Google stars are rightly deserved, but 5 stars - I hesitate.

We went to the so-called Christmas brunch and weren't really that enthusiastic about it. The taste of the food was ok, but most of it was cold, the service was totally unorganized, there were no Christmas decorations or music, and the owner wasn't really friendly when we entered I wouldn't go there again.

Went to Christmas brunch today and it was great, there was roast beef, turkey, fish, duck and goose legs. A huge antipasti buffet, wedding soup, various vegetables, dumplings, potatoes, fries, pasta... and much more. Desserts and ice cream for dessert. You could order whatever drinks you wanted. Everything included. The hall was also beautifully decorated for Christmas. An absolute recommendation from my side! We'd love to come back next year!

Celebrated our prom in the Schützenhaus. First of all, the positive: the food was good and the atmosphere is appealing, the rooms theoretically offer a good setting for a perfect prom.Unfortunately, theory and practice differ enormously. The owner is highly unsympathetic and shows no empathy. Although according to the contract the prom was supposed to last until 5, we were kicked out at 3:30. In addition, all of the employees seemed to be underage and didn't have much knowledge of their field, with the exception of the kitchen. The bartenders were already drunk early in the evening, so getting drinks became increasingly difficult.I would advise everyone to celebrate their prom somewhere else.

Easter brunch for 38 euros p. P. Not justified. There was asparagus schnitzel antipasti... But no rolls, cold cuts or anything that comes with breakfast. Very unfortunate. I would also have liked the table decorations to be more attractive. Payment was only made in cash in advance. But the service was friendly!

Easter brunchArrived in a cold dark room. Payment was made before the meal. 😑 When the food was finally ready we were “surprised” with a meal that wasn’t half or whole. No rolls, no cold cuts... and the "lunch" was probably just schnitzel (hard, dry and probably a bit old) and asparagus... the whole thing for €38 per person. It was a bit of a joke...not recommended!Nicer decoration, a little warmth, a little music, more choice of food... (in addition to the scrambled eggs available, bacon would have been an alternative too :) and yes, just that certain (feel good) thing would have given the whole thing a "cozy" feel... Atmosphere was like a cold pub I just opened and/or is about to close😞A pity

Not recommendable. Cash payment in advance (i.e. before eating). We were promised a brunch (Easter break) and we got a lunch buffet + scrambled eggs. Not even rolls or cold cuts. Way too expensive for €38.😡👎

Went there for the Christmas brunch/buffet and I found it a bit disappointing for the price of €45. The warm dishes were cold, the taste wasn't my cup of tea, and the dishes weren't labeled. Unfortunately, the wine selection that was included in the price was also limited to dry wines. It was cold in the hall and the Christmas decorations were missing. Value for money is simply too expensive. But the service staff were very nice and accommodating.
