I am now a frequent guest at the Brackstedter Mühle and am thrilled every time! The staff is super friendly and helpful, you immediately feel welcome. The breakfast is always great – fresh, varied. Everything is designed very personally, which makes your stay a special experience every time. Absolutely recommended!

We went to the Brackstedter Mühle for breakfast. Service friendly and courteous. At 27.50 euros per person, it's not exactly cheap. I wouldn't come again because I don't think the price/performance is justified and I get more for less money at other places in Wolfsburg. Nevertheless, there was enough preparation and something for every taste.I can still recommend it for a nice occasion, as the quiet location and charm really score points.

A well-located rural hotel with lots of charm and friendly staff. Yes, the rooms are a bit older but the facilities are well maintained and very clean. Special requests are responded to in a friendly manner and fulfilled. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, several selections of rolls and bread and the cold cuts are also very well sorted and always fresh. There are also scrambled eggs, bacon and various types of cereal.

Great weekend spent with colleagues. Spacious, quiet room, friendly personal service at every point and an individual breakfast buffet that is second to none and offered a few different delicacies every day. Rural idyll just outside Wolfsburg. I'd love to come back!

Surprisingly diverse and beautifully designed spacious property, even if the still preserved mill wheel no longer rattles - but with a crocodile!Good cuisine with a wide selection of wines at affordable prices. And: the best and most extensive breakfast buffet at a country inn that I have ever been able to enjoy.Friendly, attentive and approachable staff.

We were now in the Brackstedter Mühle for the second time and were “carried in our hands” again. Everything was perfect again, from the rich breakfast to the brilliant dinner. We felt really comfortable again. Unfortunately I only discovered the delicious Veltins on the last evening... what the heck, the other beers were too 😌. The rural idyll, just under 8 kilometers from Der Autostadt Wolfsburg, is also remarkable. Absolute recommendation.

We were invited to a big birthday that was celebrated there.A great place to celebrate!!The food was very well chosen by our hostess and prepared deliciously by the kitchen - the roast beef and the pike perch in a mustard crust were awesome.The desserts included, among other things, a fruit salad with figs made with fresh fruit - also not a given.Since we had a longer journey, we stayed there overnight.The rooms are clean and friendly, the bathroom is a bit old, but that didn't bother us.The breakfast the next morning was delicious and plentiful - I would definitely like to mention the homemade jams.I almost forgot to mention the thoughtful and friendly staff, along with the boss...We can only recommend you!All the best to you and your great team.

We were there for breakfast and unfortunately I have to say it was very, very cold.We were served nicely, but unfortunately there was a misunderstanding because we were offered sparkling wine and there was no mention at all that it cost anything. If we had ordered it, it would be something different. But when one is offered one assumes that a price will be quoted.When we said that at the checkout, the boss became a bit unusual in her choice of words and just said she didn't feel like that kind of "nonsense" and hammered the money back onto the counter for the champagne we had already paid for. To make it clear again, we no longer had to pay for the champagne!Misunderstandings happen all the time and just because we address this to guests is no reason for such abusive behavior. The atmosphere was more than unpleasant.

We spent a cozy family weekend here. It was completely successful. Breakfast great, food delicious, boss nice & funny, room comfortable. But the best thing is the nice young lady who fed the sheep. An absolute highlight.

We were there for the breakfast buffet, but we weren't impressed with the selection. From the photos you can clearly see that there is more choice. The food was delicious and the service was good too. We were offered sparkling wine, which we gratefully accepted. When we wanted to pay the boss, she told us that the sparkling wine would cost extra. If we had been told this beforehand, we could have decided whether we would pay €4 for it or not. The boss then reacted very angrily and was very rude. She slammed our change on the counter and we left. That's just not how you treat your guests

Very nice, rustic and friendly hotel with a decent breakfast and also accommodating for dogs. Good starting point for cycling tours in the beautiful nature and only 30 minutes by bike from Wolfsburg. Can be recommended!

I "had" to be a guest at this hotel.My description merely reflects my perspective and experiences that I was able to have.My highlights:-The tree through the roof of the winter garden or whatever you want to call it-Niklas, the waitress/bartender. An extremely reliable and polite person. (P.S. the service points/stars here are 5, the same for the blonde lady at breakfast. Unfortunately, the "service" of the legal staff leads to a deduction).-The water pressure in the shower (not everyone has a shower or modern bathroom).My negative points:-The gentleman who is in charge at night (probably the boss of the whole thing). Service training/friendliness training wouldn't hurt this.-The food. It's not bad, but not super good either.-The rooms. These have stood still in time. And why do you as a guest get a room with two entrances/exits on two hallways...it was more of a walk-through room than anything else.My conclusion: The price is not justified for this hotel and the quality.Once and never again.Thank youAddendum to the statement below:Definitely wrong. Unfortunately her husband/or the owner didn't inform us 2 (people sitting apart from the group) about a last lap or so. He himself commented on this with “then I just forgot about it”.Furthermore, after the "outburst" that her late worker had, I asked the service person I highly praised why she didn't just stop the service when it was the last round. Her service person simply replied, “It’s ok, I could do everything at the same time and still serve”. Maybe go into communication. The fact is, we weren't told anything and afterwards we were the ones who suffered the displeasure of our "late manager" without us being informed or doing anything about it.Here again 10 out of 10 points for your service worker Niklas. Afterwards, he formally apologized to the two of us for "his boss" and said that he would clarify it with him.Again, this is not how you treat guests in a service industry. And we weren't the problem at that point. If you have a problem with one part of a group, you shouldn't spread it to everyone ;).

Nice, quaint hotel with good food as well as lots of free parking spaces and very fast WiFi.But unfortunately not quite as suitable for cold-sensitive guests like me. All heating (rooms, bathrooms, restaurants, "public" toilets) on level 0 with outside temperatures of 7-11 degrees I think is already at the limit.I arrived late and it didn't get warm in the room the first night (maybe the heating was turned down at night)I know energy is expensive, but with a room price of over €100/night???Still 5 stars because my problem is definitely not everyone's problem.

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday on Friday with 20 adults and 9 children. My expectations were once again exceeded (we celebrated our son's starting school there two years ago). The table was stylishly set. The food was once again tastefully and lovingly prepared. Just today I was raved about the delicious menu again. The service was courteous and attentive to all guests, including the children.Reservation and arrangement were uncomplicated and reliable at the same time. They also helped me with advice and support when implementing the “surprise party” (tips where the guests could park, etc.)Thank you for helping make this day unforgettable for the birthday child.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday there with the family with 14 people.What can I say, my expectations were exceeded.Stylishly set with white tablecloths and beautifully decorated, tasteful, lovingly prepared and presented food.
