*edit*Instead of dealing with criticism, the guests' experience is questioned...Original review:Phew, I wanted to check in there spontaneously....when I entered the foyer I was hit by a musty smell....the decorations also looked dirty and dusty.I carefully called out "hello" but nothing happened...Then someone came into the hallway, saw me and called in the kitchen. From there it just hissed "I'll finish here first! Guests can wait!"(Excuse me? Excuse me?)The man tried to calm me down with “a little moment.”A few minutes later, a bad-tempered woman shot around the corner and barked at me about what I wanted.I was so horrified that I spontaneously decided not to book a room but to ask for the toilet. She wanted 1.50...luckily I didn't have to and I left this place quickly...I don't want to have to endure such nasty people on my vacation.

We have been there for approx. 10-15 years ago, it's a time travel, the hotel is currently undergoing a much-needed renovation. Hope it worked out.Breakfast is not included in the price, a small breakfast costs €5, consists of toast, jam and Nutella, we bought a larger breakfast for €10, where we were served 1 piece of bread per person. person, a plate of cold cuts and some cheese, should we have juice, eggs etc., should we pay €2.10 for juice and approx., €4 for eggs etc., then the breakfast is too expensive, better to serve a proper complete breakfast, then the waiter, who is also the owner, is free to run back and forth 100 times. For dinner we ordered wild boar, with spätelse, it tasted of nothing at all, and was simply heated in the microwave. We were 4 different teams for dinner, the other 3 each got a venison soup as a starter, as a greeting from the kitchen, it seemed very strange, maybe the owner, who was also a waiter, should say all or none. She has no sense of red wine, if you are into this. We don't like the German red wines, they are usually thin and sweet, a small course would probably be good. In contrast, Germany has some fantastically good white wines. We hope the hotel will be up and running again. It is an exciting little piece of history and close to Goslar.Maybe you should read what I wrote properly? I just informed you about the 2 different breakfasts for €5 and €10, but they were not worth the money. We are quite a bit in Germany, especially when passing through, this time we were first at Hotel Mein Bergblick in Hahnenklee and then at Park Hotel in Rüdesheim, we suggest you try some nights there, both places were unique, you can learn from it. The review we wrote should be seen as constructive criticism, nothing else. Good wind with Romkerhalle

arrived from the back of the hotel thinking it was empty. Parts of the terrace appear to have been torn down and are currently being rebuilt. The windows and facade were very dirty. Drinks and prices are good. Waitress was friendly.

Thanks to the boss!We were only there briefly today to have a drink. Since we celebrated my birthday and stayed there years ago, I wanted my daughter-in-law to see the lovingly furnished rooms. At our request, the boss showed us some rooms! Princess room, king room,...

The hotel is located right next to a waterfall and has something special in terms of furnishings. The style was nice and the hotel was certainly an eye-catcher. However, those days are long gone... Everything looks run down. The breakfast was okay for the price... but the staff is extremely overwhelmed. It almost makes you feel sorry.Perfectly okay for one night. Definitely not for more.

Year 2021Corona time and a Pentecost weekend in the Harz; who won't remember that. Every parking space is taken to the last possible extent, but in the Little Kingdom of Romkerhall it is quiet and cozy. The service was great and the food was great! We'd love to come back, maybe even for an overnight stay. See you soon.Year 2024Addition after 3 years:We are still thrilled with the food. This usually changes over time. Especially due to the enormous price increases, the quantities and, above all, the quality are being reduced significantly, which really hits you in the stomach because of the price :-( .But here you don't just get zero fries, but really sensible, tasty food that you can look forward to! Please stay like that! We'd love to come back
