Simple parking space in a very nice location, quiet, ideal as a starting point for hikes. The operators are very nice, so you feel like you've arrived straight away. We were only there for one night, but would like to come back a second time for a few days longer.

We stayed on the pitch for 2 nights. The new operators are very friendly and uncomplicated. We know the place from previous visits, a lot has changed due to the new operators: you can also book for one night, the toilets have been renovated, the opening times of the toilets are longer. The many prohibition signs are gone, the space limitations are nicely designed (without flutter band). There is a new emptying ration, the best we have had so far in our RV days. There is electricity in all places. We are excited to see what happens next and would love to come back. Criticisms for us are: there are no bread rolls on site and the way to the town without a bike is long just for rolls. A shower room would be desirable.

Very nicely located place with very friendly owners who are very helpful and accommodating. The area is wonderful for hiking and relaxing. The place is easy to reach on foot. There are some nice restaurants there. We were already able to take a look at the holiday apartment under construction. This is bright and friendly furnished. Dogs are also welcome throughout the site. As soon as time permits, we will definitely be guests there again. Greetings from Solingen

The owners are very friendly. The location is very beautiful in the middle of nature. There are toilets, but they are only open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is also a detoxification station.

The parking space is great😊. We came with a Hilux and a trailer that was 11 meters long and it was no problem at all to stand up. The owners Frank and Andrea are very kind and helpful operators😍. They do it with their heart and soul. We had dogs with us and it was great for them too. You can walk straight from the campsite and be in beautiful nature. There are many hiking and biking trails. We're coming back, greetings from Saas Fee

Nice parking space for motorhomes. We rented a house on Airbnb for 4 days in Altenau and only used the parking space as a parking space for the motorhome, as there was no other option in Altenau. We only used the power connection because of the refrigerator. We had to book in advance! including tourist tax for the planned 4 days! Because of an announced road closure between the parking space and the rented house in Altenau, we decided to park the motorhome a day earlier for one night at the rented house. This was only possible because some guests had already left.Since we had actually paid too much for the parking space for one day, I tried to demand the 15 euros back, because in principle the operators could have rented out the same space again! They totally refused to pay me back!! So in short: zero goodwill, zero tolerance! In my almost 40 years of motorhome experience, I have never had to pay in advance for a parking space or campsite! This would mean that all the flexibility for WOMO trips would be gone.Another note: The electricity bill - three and a half days just for a refrigerator without a freezer compartment at supposedly €1 per KWh €18?? And all without a receipt??!! So watch out!
